luxury honeymoons

Most people define luxury as a pleasure out of the ordinary allowed to ones self, and what better time to deserve luxury than right after your wedding with the one you love the most.

The idea of luxury to many people is paradise. The crystal blue oceans, white sandy beaches, over-water bungalows, and lavishly elegant lifestyle for a week or two can sum it up. Whether it be the tranquil and serene surroundings of the Maldives, or the 5 star glamorous glitz of the Las Vegas strip, you are bound to find luxury on every continent. Some popular destinations for luxury honeymoons include, the world famous Dubai, home to the worlds only 7 star hotel, and the pristine, immaculate islands of Malaysia, such as Pangkor Laut.

Luxury honeymoons are all about relaxing in beautiful surroundings, unlike any you have ever seen before. However, finding these magical surroundings does not necessarily mean that you have to travel half way across the world to find it. Europe is full of wonderful luxury honeymoon hot spots. The Mediterranean is jam packed with exciting ancient lands to explore by day and live beyond your means at night. Northern Europe can be pretty special as well, with the most unusual of hotels made from ice, or the magical winter wonderland feel.

The far east excels is its customer service and is also excellent value for money when travel is concerned. It is easy to island hop to several different destinations during a two week break, and there are many places to see and things to do that you would not necessarily imagine doing anywhere else in the world. The culture, year round sunshine, breath taking beaches, and exotic feel to the region invites you to enjoy a pampered and exquisite experience whilst on a once in a life time honeymoon.

If you are looking for a bit of excitement to go along with your pleasure and relaxation, South Africa is the place to go. A wild few days staying at one of the top safari camps in the Kruger National Park, followed by a visit to one of the top coastal 5 star hotels in Cape Town would certainly give you an experience of a life time. This would give you an opportunity to see animals in their natural habitat whilst being guided by a top ranger, along with a camp unlike any ordinary campsite you have ever seen - and don't even think about the tent you took to Glastonbury. The safari camps have all the amenities you could ever dream of, along with absolute luxury and bath tubs looking over into the 'bush'. However if you don't want to wake up to a giraffe poking his head through your bedroom window then you might want to consider somewhere a little less extensive.

Just because you want a bit of luxury on your honeymoon doesn't necessarily mean that you have to have it that way for the whole trip. Many people like to split their trip up between the culture/city break type introduction and end the journey with the relaxing luxurious 5 star resort. Where ever in the world you decide to visit, the class and high standard of luxury is yours for the taking.
