Wedding Venues in Cheshire

We had our wedding in July 24 after booking the venue in the April. Kate was fantastic throughout, from initial viewings (I went twice each with a different bridesmaid) through to the morning after. She made sure the day was perfect and even better than what we could have imagined. We had a smaller wedding for during the day (45a 10c) (we didn't hold the ceremony at the venue as this had been booked elsewhere previously) and the room was set up for the breakfast perfectly for us, enclosing part of the room to allow a secondary entrance for us (and a place for the kids to let off some steam during the speeches with the adults needing to worry about them running off as they were still within the room), the room change over was managed perfectly so once we returned form our couples photos, taken on the grounds, the party was already underway. Kate was very communicative and tailored the package to suit our wants, even on the morning of the wedding when my husband decided to add elements to the package. The food was amazing. We opted for the melon, chicken dinner and cheesecake for the wedding breakfast and everyone commented on how nice the food was, the chicken was lovely and juicy and flavoured perfectly. We unfortunately missed the evening buffet but have been told how lovely this was too, we did have pizzas the night before and loved the selection available. We were also so fortunate to be one of the first wedding to utilise the 'Bridal Dressing Room' which was available for us from the evening before through to the morning after (I stayed the night before with both bridesmaids, their families and my MIL) meaning we could ensure all the dresses were wedding day ready with plenty of space for us all to get made up and our hair done and it also gave us newly weds a space to quickly freshen up once arriving back from the ceremony prior to checking into the complimentary bridal suite later in the evening. All the staff were so accommodating and welcoming, especially Kate, and we would say, hand on heart, our day could not have been in better hands and honestly do not think our day could have gone as smoothly or as well anywhere else.

Our wedding day at The Lion & Swan was perfect from start to finish, we wish we could relive the day all over again. Our wedding co-ordinator Hess communicated with us through the whole process and made it very easy and enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble and jess was always happy to assist with any requests from choosing our package and tweaking things to accommodate us. We created our own menu with the knowledge and advice from the chef who produced a delicious meal which all of our friends and family enjoyed. The addition of canapés to our package was the perfect add to our drinks reception, we were able to choose from a wide selection and also request our own additions. The squid ink and crab arancini is a must! Jess and the team made sure the day ran smoothly and were happy to help at any point, all the staff are so friendly and we’re happy to make our day special. We chose the terrace for our ceremony and drinks reception, Leone for our wedding breakfast and a section of the lounge area was roped off for our break before the evening guests arrived. Our evening celebration was held in Radley & co which was the perfect setting to get the party started, the stage area was set up for our band Double Lively and then followed by Jorge Martin as DJ organised by the venue. We highly recommend this venue for your wedding if you are looking for a relaxed well organised stress free day this is the prefect place for your celebration.

My husband and I got married at Swanley Meadows this summer and it could not have been more perfect. We were lucky with the weather and had the ceremony outside under the huge beech tree, which as nature lovers was really special. The tipis were gorgeous and Jenny was amazing from start to finish and went above and beyond to help curate the perfect day for us. We went into the day feeling relaxed, knowing everything was taken care of.

We recently had our wedding at Oakmere, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The setting was absolutely perfect, with a beautiful tipi by the pond, surrounded by peaceful countryside. We were so lucky with the weather which made it even better! Kerry, Margot and the team were incredibly helpful and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our guests have been full of compliments, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Oakmere provided the perfect backdrop for our special day, and we highly recommend it to anyone.

We had a magical wedding at Parr’s Bank. The most beautiful venue which was commented upon by all our guests. Leahanne was totally amazing from the planning to the day itself, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel so special. I cannot recommend the venue highly enough!

There is nothing I can fault with Dove Barn Weddings. From the very first visit Katie was brilliant and it was an easy decision to pick Dove for our wedding ceremony and celebration. Every single guest commented on the venue and the staff throughout the night. The whole family and staff at the venue went over and above and they helped make our special day even more special. I would hands down recommend this venue to anyone looking for a barn style wedding venue. The onsite accomodation which is available is also perfect for you stay overnight.

We got married at The Alderley Edge Hotel on 4 May 2024. We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to the whole team for making our whole day so special, and a big thank you to Lucy Wade for the planning and organisation; she made it so seamless and stress-free. The team kept us up to date with regular communication. I must have sent a million questions via email before the day and each email was responded to so quickly. The day ran very smoothly, the food was so delicious, every need was met and no ask was too much. A perfect day. I couldn’t have asked for more.

We were just blown away by the whole experience that we had yesterday at Lady Grey Farm from start to finish. The venue is just incredible it provides everyone from the bridal party to individual guests everything to make a special day FABULOUS! Attention to detail was noticed and they made everything go so smoothly. The staff were friendly and professional. It's a fantastic venue

We were so glad we chose oddfellows as our venue for our wedding, it was the perfect mix of quirky, modern yet still felt like a romantic wedding venue. All the staff were friendly, atrentive and no request was ever too much. All our guests commented on how amazing the food, the staff and the venue were.if I could give them 10 stars I would. They made our special day even more special! Thanks oddfellows!

We had our day on the 15th September, it was perfect. The events team were so helpful and the day went perfectly. I forgot to update them on the last min changes and they didn’t flinch and sorted it without hassle. The hotel is lovely and ideal for guest to stay. The food was lovely and plenty of it. We would certainly recommend the tytherington club as its a beautiful location and great value for money.
