1. Who is running the Promotion?

The Organiser is Hitched Limited, with the principal office and correspondence address at First Floor, Elm Yard, Elm Street, London, WC1X 0BJ and organises for promotional purposes a nationwide promotional activity (hereinafter, "the Promotion"), to be carried out through the Internet.

2. Who can take part in the Promotion?

The Promotion is open to all Participants who:

• Are residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands and possess a UK bank account in their own name.
• Are aged 18 years or older
• Are in the process of celebrating their marriage ("Engaged") or have celebrated it 12 months before the Start Date ("Newlyweds").
• Are registered users on the Hitched.co.uk platform (“Website”) during the Promotion period as defined below.
• Have not been a Winner of any previous editions of any Promotions established by the Organiser.
• Follow the mechanics set out in point 4.

Excluded from Hitched Rewards are the Organiser’s employees or contractors and anyone connected with the Organiser or the Promotion, and each of their direct family members. "Direct family members" are spouse, parents, grandparents, children (adopted, half and step), grandchildren, siblings and in-laws (mother, father, brother, sister, daughter, and son).

If at any time there is evidence that any of the Participants does not meet the requirements set forth in the Legal Terms or that the data provided for participation is inaccurate, their participation will be considered null and void, and they will be automatically excluded from the Promotion, losing all rights to the Prize (as defined later) granted under this Promotion.

By entering the Promotion, Participants explicitly accept the current terms and conditions.

3. What dates will the Promotion run between?

The starting date for entries is 01/09/2024 12:00pm BST (the "Start Date") and the closing date for entries is 30/09/2024 12:00pm BST (the "Closing Date"). The selection of the Winner and alternatives ("Selection Date") will take place on 30th september, 2024.

The Organiser will not change the dates unless forced to do so by unavoidable circumstances outside their control (for example, changes in applicable law or governmental guidance that means the Promotion is prohibited, or supply issues in respect of the Prize caused by circumstances outside of the Partner's control, such as unforeseeable labour shortages or transport delays).

In that case, the Promotion will be cancelled and to the extent possible reopened at a later date. All those entrants who sought to participate within the original terms will be given the opportunity to re-enter the Promotion.

4. How to enter the Promotion

Users interested in participating must access the links enabled and available on the Website in the following categories and enter the name of the Supplier and the corresponding date on which they:

• Visited or contacted a Vendor listed on the Website (Engaged and Newlyweds): link
• Hired a Vendor listed on the Website (Engaged and Newlyweds): link
• Posted a review about a hired Vendor (only Newlyweds): link
• Published a real wedding story (only Newlyweds): link

Once the information entered by the Participant is validated by the Vendor, the tickets to participate will be activated, namely:

• Visit or contact (maximum 50 per Participant) with a Vendor: 1 ticket
• Hiring a Vendor (maximum 20 per Participant): 10 tickets
• Posting a review about a hired Vendor: 5 tickets (per hired Vendor)
• Publishing a real wedding story: 50 tickets

Tickets will not be cumulative with those of other promotions, either prior or subsequent, and will only be valid if obtained between the Promotion Start and Closing Dates. The Participant must have completed the above mandatory steps and not have won any previous edition of the Promotion. To be eligible for the Prize, Participants must be registered users of the Website during the Promotion and until the acceptance of the Prize. Bulk entries made by third parties will not be permitted.

This Contest is free to enter, therefore, Participants will not be charged for entering. Entries received after the Closing Date of the Promotion will not be considered.

5. How is the Winner selected?

The Winner will be the first correct entry drawn at random through a random number generator from all the Participants correct entries received from the Start Date up to and including the Closing Date. The Organiser’s decision as to the Winner is final and no correspondence relating to the selection of the Winner will be entered into. The Organiser may share the details of the Winner on the Website and social networks.

Two (2) alternative numbers will also be drawn, in the event that the Winner renounces or is ineligible to receive the prize.

The Winner will be notified via phone call or email and once notified, an acceptance document will be sent to the email address registered in the user profile. In the event that the Winner does not sign the prize acceptance document within five (5) days, the first of the two alternatives will be considered the Winner and will be dealt with as indicated in this paragraph. In the event that the first alternative, once considered the winner, does not express his or her acceptance or renunciation of the prize within the period indicated, the second of the two alternatives will be considered the Winner, and will be dealt with as indicated in this paragraph.

In the event that even the second alternative, once deemed the Winner, does not accept or renounce the prize within the specified period, a new draw will be held and a new winner and alternatives will be proclaimed.

The Organiser may also disclose publicly the Winner's surname unless the Winner objects by contacting feedback@hitched.email. The Organiser will give the Winner prior written notice of such disclosure and give the Winner 5 days to object. Please note that in certain circumstances the Organiser may be required to provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority regardless of the Winner's ability to object.

ENTRIES AND/OR THE WINNER MAY BE DISQUALIFIED IF THE Organiser DETERMINES, IN ITS REASONABLE DISCRETION, THAT THE ENTRY CONTAINS, AMONG OTHER THINGS, FALSE INFORMATION, INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE OR REMARKS, OFFENSIVE OR DISCRIMINATORY CONTENT, OR ANY CONTENT THAT VIOLATES OR INFRINGES ANY THIRD PARTY’S RIGHTS.

6. What is the Prize?

The Prize is: £3,000 (three thousand british pounds) payment directly transferred to the Winner’s bank account. The Organiser will contact the Winner to request their full name, email address, postal address and bank account data. These data will be used for the sole purpose of delivering the Prize.

To receive the prize, it is essential that the Winner provides imagery of the couple as well as a written testimony about how they received the news of the prize. All material must meet the characteristics indicated by the Company and the material may be used by the Company with the aim of promoting the draw on the website itself and on other channels. In the event that the Winner refuses to comply with this requirement, the prize will be awarded to a new Winner in accordance with the provisions of point 5 of these Rules.

The Prize will be paid via transfer to the UK bank account designated by the Winner for this purpose, within 30 (thirty) days following the acceptance of the Prize, and will be subject to the applicable taxes and withholdings in accordance with the tax laws in effect at the time of the Prize delivery.

Any tax, expense, commission, or withholding applicable to the transferred amount in accordance with the prevailing legislation will be entirely carried by the Winner.

Personal information and promotional material

The Organiser will process entrants' personal information (name and contact details) in accordance with (i) all applicable law relating to the processing of personal data and data privacy, including the UK GDPR (as defined in the Data Protection, Privacy and Electronic Communications (Amendments etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019/419), the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act 2018 and (ii) Hitched Privacy Policy, available at https://www.hitched.co.uk/about/privacy-policy/.

Participants have the right of access, to be informed, to object, to erasure, to restrict processing, to data portability, and / or to rectification of their personal information, as well as revoking the given consent at any time, by emailing gdpr@hitched.co.uk. Further details of how the Organiser processes personal data are set out in Hitched's Privacy Policy.

For the purpose of disseminating and publicising this Promotion, the Winner will provide the Organiser with imagery of the couple as well as a written testimony about how they received the news of the Prize (the "Material"), expressly authorising the Organiser to reproduce them along with their full name. The Winner also agrees to obtain any authorisations required in relation to the use of the Material by the Organiser, including image rights and copyright.

The Winner authorises the Organiser to use the Material obtained for any promotional activity related to the Promotion at a worldwide level and for the maximum duration legally provided, whether in audiovisual, physical, and/or digital media, known at present or developed in the future, especially through landing pages, newsletters, ads, articles, and social networks, including advertising and/or promotion of the Organiser's current and future services.

In the event that the Winner refuses to comply with this requirement will be disqualified and the Prize will be awarded to a new Winner in accordance with the provisions of point 5 of these Legal Terms.

Are there any extra terms I need to know about?

The Organiser reserves the right to amend the terms of the Promotion where such amendments are minor changes or are required by applicable law. In addition, the Organiser may cancel the Promotion at any stage, if in its opinion (acting reasonably) there is a risk of fraud, security breach, fairness or proper conduct of the Promotion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control. The Organiser will provide entrants with reasonable notice of any changes prior to them being made.

Participants reserve the right to withdraw their entry at any time prior to the draw on providing [7] days' notice to the Organiser by emailing feedback@hitched.email.

The Organiser does not accept any responsibility for lost, delayed or fraudulent entries.

THE ORGANISER EXCLUDES LIABILITY FOR ANY UNFORESEEABLE LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY OCCURRING TO THE PARTICIPANT ARISING FROM HIS OR HER ENTRY INTO THE PROMOTION OR OCCURRING TO A WINNER ARISING FROM HIS OR HER ACCEPTANCE OF A PRIZE. LOSS OR DAMAGE IS FORESEEABLE IF EITHER IT IS OBVIOUS THAT IT WILL HAPPEN OR IF, AT THE TIME THE PARTICIPANT SUBMITS HIS OR HER ENTRY, THE Organiser WAS AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ITS OCCURRENCE.

The Promotion is not sponsored or guaranteed by the social network or any other platform through which it is held (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).

The Promotion is subject to the laws of England and the exclusive jurisdiction of London City´s Courts.
