I'm Mary, the Lingerie Engineer behind Síoda Lingerie!

Síoda is pronounced ‘she da’ and means silk in Irish. The beginnings of the label came from Silk Sleepwear – but nobody needs this. Today, I use my degree in Aeronautical Engineering as well as my Fashion qualifications to invisibly support brides, all over the world, so that they can wear the dress of their dreams.

Working in the Bridal Industry for almost a decade, and in the bespoke shape-wear sector specifically, I have the knowledge and experience to help you work out what is necessary (and unnecessary!).

Type 1 Diabetes is a huge part of my life as someone with the condition and a parent of a little person with T1D too. This is why you’ll see a whole section in the store devoted to Diabetes Techwear Accessories.
