One of my best friends had a pretty awful rare cancer diagnosis in September. As a result the stunning wedding she'd planned next year had to be brought forward very quickly and looked very different from the original plan. We had 10 days to plan the event but despite this madness it was absolutely mission critical that our bride felt special and beautiful and that the day was a celebration of love and hope and not a sad one. I wanted to find the best for my chum and having reviewed reviews like this for Anna I reached out thinking there's no way she'd be able to accept a gig that by this point was a week away. As the universe would have it Anna happened to be available that day and from the get go approached our unusual and sensitive situation with huge compassion and professionalism. We were invited to submit ideas and what we liked / disliked etc via whatsapp ahead of the day. On the day itself it was just me, the bride and Anna in the room getting ready. Anna seamlessly became part of team Bride and made that 'getting ready' bit every bit as fun and special as it would be under any normal circumstance. My friend had moaned at me about 'making a fuss' saying she didn't need hair and make up done when it was all so different and so much smaller than the original plan but afterwards she was so thankful we'd got Anna on board - she felt a million dollars on her special day - regardless of her health and the arduous journey ahead. If you're a bride wanting to book the very best at what she does who is also a very lovely human - we couldn't recommend Anna more highly. xx

She did my hair and make up for my wedding reception and I couldn't have felt more confident. For someone that doesn't wear a lot of make up, I was worried I would feel cakey having had my make up professionally done. However, it felt light and natural but still had the wow factor. After a trial session, she nailed the brief and delivered exactly what I envisaged for the day. Anna's skillset, knowledge and warmth made me feel totally relaxed in her capable hands. Anna is simply the most talented HMU artist I've ever worked with, and her calming positive presence was exactly what I needed when getting ready for my wedding day. Anna was so communicative in the lead up, she provides so much inspiration in the months before and fantastic advice on the prep ahead of the big day too with skin and haircare tips. My trial was such a good experience too, I felt like feedback and making my look exactly as I imagined was her priority and I loved getting it right together. And, my look on the day was even BETTER than the trial and how I imagined. I cannot recommend Anna highly enough!

I booked Anna for my wedding for both hair and makeup after seeing her on Hitched and Rock My Wedding. After an initial video call I was immediately put at ease by her friendliness and professionalism and I am really glad I booked with her. At my trial she took so much care to make sure I was happy and was flexible with trying different hairstyles when I was very indecisive! On the day itself she made sure every detail was exactly as I wanted, staying to do final touch ups until right before I walked down the aisle and was a very calming presence for the morning. I would highly recommend Anna. For my wedding in July Anna did the hair and makeup for myself, my mum and three bridesmaids. Anna is not only very talented in what she creates, but she is very easy to get along with, making me feel very relaxed every step of the way. Not once did I feel awkward, it was the best experience and I honestly haven’t felt more beautiful. So whether you’re someone who like myself wanted a very natural look true to me hair and makeup or prefers to wear a bit more/go all out, you are in great hands with Anna!

I’m sure I wasn’t the easiest of clients, as I was very clear on what I Don’t like but struggled to communicate exactly what I wanted.
Anna took her time after the trial to show me multiple different options and we had long conversations of what I liked and didn’t like, what would suit me and not.
On the day she made it all come together and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome. She had taken everything onboard, tweaked things to look good on me, and left me feeling absolutely stunning!

Highly recommend Anna! She did my wedding hair and makeup and really listened to my insecurities and gave me so much confidence! I definitely recommend having a trial first so you can try different looks and then your wedding day runs smoothly. Anna lets you know what makeup she uses so I could buy my own and top up throughout the day if required! She was so organised and professional and was excellent with her timings. 100% would ask her to do my makeup for any event in the future!

I want to say a big thank you to Anna for making my wedding day a bit more special with her magical make-up. I am quite picky with the quality of make-up for special events but with certainty, I can say that Anna is a true artist who can see something unique in every girl and embrace the natural beauty. We had a trial which lasted about 3 hours where we talked about everything in detail and then we repeated the look at the wedding day but two times quicker. Anna is a really lovely person and she makes the whole process really easy and comfortable. My make-up perfectly lasted from 9 am to 11 pm and then unfortunately I had to take it off but my skin was sooo soft after all of the products she used. Thank you again for making me feel like a princess:))

Anna is a fabulous bridal hair and makeup artist! I am so glad I picked her for my special day. I was a little bit stuck with which kind of makeup I was after. At my trial she took her time, speaking to me step by step, to make sure I was happy with what she was doing. I have sensitive skin and she took her time and was very gentle.
I was so happy with my hair. It was perfect. It was exactly what I was after. My hair is extremely long and heavy and she still managed to make it look amazing.
On my wedding day she went above and beyond helping me. She gave me lots of advice and was a massive help, even calming me down when things got stressful. I felt like Anna was a friend, and my bridesmaids felt comfortable around her, too. She helped me in so many ways and I was very grateful I chose to book her.
