AurA Hair & Beauty is a wedding hair and beauty salon in Horwich, Greater Manchester, England. They pride themselves on being inclusive stylists, and you can count on receiving award-winning service from stylists determined to help you look and feel your absolute best. Whether your style is more elegant and natural or beautiful and boho, they want to give you and your wedding party an experience you'll cherish forever.
Aura Hair & Beauty are taking bookings for 2024, 2025 and quoting for 2026.
Due to high demand, AurA Hair and Beauty Bridal, encourages you to book your date in advance. However, we do not take any bridal bookings in December, at the moment.
Services Offered
AurA Hair & Beauty offers hair and makeup trials ahead of your big day. On the day of your wedding, they will meet and greet you and your wedding party and go over everything to ensure that you feel relaxed and assure that they have everything covered. They will also help you with your veil and fit any hair accessories or clip-in hair extensions you may have selected. Whatever your needs, they want to help you greet the future with lovely, flawless hair and makeup.
AurA Hair & Beauty also provide tips for the night before for your entire party and an itinerary of styling on your wedding morning will be sent to you the week before to help your wedding morning go smoothly so you can start your day on the right note.

What is included in the wedding package?
Bespoke packages are created once we have spoken to our Bride. Our 3 main packages are available to see on our website.
We offer hair and makeup preparation tips and after ceremony styling
How far in advance should I contact you?
Advanced booking is highly recommended. Our diary is open for quoting for 2025, 2026. Saturday requests only at the moment
Do you work at homes?
Yes
What is the charge for travelling?
We request a £50.00 travel fee which is calculated into your quotation and official fees

Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?
Yes
How many people can you beautify for one wedding?
We have a relatively large team of hair stylists and makeup artist. For larger parties we may bring along one of our chosen and well selected artists to your trial and on the day
Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?
Yes
What are the forms of payment?
To secure your booking we ask you to confirm by card into our online booking system.
We recommend bacs or card payment upon invoicing for deposit and payment. Payment plans are available

The BEST team around
Amy and Lizzie what a dream team they are. I rarely leave reviews but I had to. From trials to the day I have never felt so at ease. I’m a plus size bride and not really a makeup wearing or lovely hair kind of gal. When I tell you they smashed it they really did. I’ve never felt beautiful but they did an amazing job and on the day I felt pretty. I got so many compliments and looking back on pictures I don’t do it wanting to throw up haha. Amy and Lizzie you were beyond fantastic, my bridesmaids absolutely loved how you brought out visions to life and the flexibility you had when we changed the look last minute!
You really did an amazing job and we can’t thank you enough! ❤️ you brought the vibe on the day, we felt relaxed and loved every minute. You were both a pleasure to work with. We have also nominated you for a bridal award because honestly you guys are fabulous!

Great service from lovely girls
Had a wonderful time in the salon on my hair and makeup trial, everyone was lovely and I was really looked after.
Amy and Lizzie came on the big day to make me look fabulous. They did a fantastic job and kept me calm throughout. Would definitely recommend them to any bridal party

More than just bridal hair
I can not recommend Amy (Aura Hair & Beauty) enough. I had an initial idea which looked great in the trial, but on the day of the wedding it looked even better when we considered the dress etc. I had a particularly stressful morning because of unforeseen circumstances and Amy stepped in to do my make up. Thanks for keeping me calm and making me look great on the day!

Incredible hair fantastic stylists
All the stylists involved did an incredible job. From the hair trial to the big day, all styles looked amazing. They worked with a range of hairstyles from thin and straight to thick and curly, each with a beautiful result. The stylists were creative and amazing at helping each person obtain a stunning style that made them feel confident and beautiful for the big day . The day itself was relaxed with the stylists working calmly and at ease with their clients.

If you want glamour with a fab team give AURA a try
I absolutely would not hesitate to reccommend Amy and her team at AURA, i was quickly put at ease, we discussed ideas, i felt listened to, this meant that i was calm and confident that my special day would be exactly as i wanted it to be, and it was, i was delighted with the service from start to finish....friendly, professional and fabulous at what they do.

The best glam squad
Amy, Sarah and Lizzie are the best team and made myself and my bridesmaids feel fantastic for the whole day.
I’ve known Amy for over a year now and having her do my hair in my wedding day made me feel so relaxed. The communication and organising throughout has been amazing.
I couldn’t recommend the girls more.

The very best!
As my go to hairdresser and beautician, as soon as I got engaged I knew Team AurA were the team I wanted for my bridal hair and makeup.
Amy, Lizzie and Sarah have gone above and beyond in the lead up to my wedding and on my wedding day. They have helped calm nerves, make sense of my ideas and made me feel great at every appointment.
My makeup and hair stayed perfect all day, despite it being a full on (and windy) day. My makeup usually doesn't stay on but Lizzie worked magic and the makeup was still perfect several hours and wines later.
I cannot thank them enough for helping my bridesmaids and my mum feel beautiful on my wedding day. As some of my bridesmaids hadn't had their makeup and hair done previously, they felt nervous. However Team AurA listened to them and their concerns and worked with them until they felt and looked amazing.
Also, a very special thanks to Sarah for coming to the rescue and sewing my dress after I ripped it in the moments before leaving for the wedding! Lifesaver!
All in all, I don't think I could recommend anyone more than I recommend AurA. They are so talented and genuinely nice people, I will be forever grateful for their involvement in my wedding day.

Highly recommend!
Amy and Lizzie were wonderful, responsive and totally flexible with my requests . They did hair and makeup for me (the bride) and 5 others, and we all felt beautiful all night! Amy and Lizzie listened to exactly what each of us where looking for and offered their own expert recommendations (which didn’t disappoint). Not to mention they arrived early, wirh Prosecco, were calm and professional, and just a joy to hang out with. From trial to the wedding day, they were fab. Would highly recommend!
