Meet Aurora
Makeup Artist & Hairstylist based in central London / King's Cross
Hi, I’m Aurora! A French hair and makeup artist based in London. My journey began over 10 years ago at the renowned Make Up Forever Academy, where I built a solid foundation in my craft. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working in some of Europe’s most beautiful destinations, perfecting my signature style—the effortless French touch. I create radiant, timeless, and polished looks that enhance your natural beauty and feel uniquely you!
With experience working for magazines and VIP clients, I’ve mastered the art of blending soft glamour and elegance into every look. Beyond my artistry, I’m known for my calm and organised approach, making sure your wedding day is as smooth and stress-free as possible. I genuinely treasure the personal connections I build with my brides, and it’s a joy to be part of your special day, ensuring you feel confident, beautiful, and truly looked after.
What do you love about doing weddings?
What I love most about doing weddings is the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful and special day. Having been a bride myself, I truly understand how important it is to feel your most beautiful and confident as you step into one of the biggest moments of your life. Knowing every detail has been thoughtfully considered, there’s something magical about helping a bride feel radiant and at ease.
I also love building personal connections with my clients, understanding their vision, and creating a look that reflects their personality and style. It’s rewarding to contribute to those unforgettable memories and ensure that every bride feels her best on her special day.
What’s one of your career highlights?
One of my career highlights has been the opportunity to work with brides across Europe in some of the most breathtaking locations. From the prestigious Villa d'Este in Lake Como to the charm of the French Riviera, the elegance of Paris, and even the magical desert landscapes of Morocco, each experience has been unique and unforgettable. Helping brides feel their most beautiful and confident in such incredible settings is truly what makes my work so rewarding.
What's your top tip for brides-to-be?
My top tip for brides-to-be is to trust your artist’s guidance and follow their instructions—they’re there to help you look and feel your best! Avoid last-minute experiments, like trying new skincare products or treatments, in the days leading up to the wedding, and stick to what works for you to keep your skin and hair at their best. I also recommend taking time for yourself—whether it’s meditating, doing some light exercise, or simply pausing to breathe. These small moments of self-care will help you feel calm, centered, and ready to enjoy every second of your big day.
What must-have products can be found in your kit?
My must-have for brides: Hollywood Filter, foundation, a waterproof mascara (the Volume of Chanel), Hourglass concealer, Laura Mercier powder, Westman Atelier stick contour, Dior Backstage foundation, Charlotte Tilbury lip liner, Giorgio Armani Liquid Highlighter 02, Liquid Lipstick Lip Blur by Charlotte Tilbury, and Nuxe Body oil!
