Melissa was absolutely fabulous, I did two trials and Melissa doing my hair and makeup on our wedding day and she was so easy to work with from initially enquiring through to the day! No little tweak or change was too much and I really felt she listed and made my vision come to life so perfectly - I felt so beautiful all day, and my hair and makeup lasted perfectly!

Melissa also was super punctual, gave loads of clear information on what to expect on the day and didn’t bat an eyelid when our getting ready area wasn’t exactly the easiest!

Melissa did my hair and make up on my wedding day, as well as my mum and bridal party along with two other assistants. Right from my trial she put me completely at ease, and I was so pleased with the options she came up with.

Melissa did both mine and my bridal parties hair on my wedding day and she was brilliant.

I found Melissa through Instagram - she was tagged on a photographer's page and I absolutely loved the bride's natural, beautiful look so I had to get in touch. I'm so glad I did! I honestly have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day and my husband kept telling me how incredible I looked. My make up and hair were pristine by the end of the day, despite dancing all evening!

Melissa is a true master of her craft and knows how to pull together a look that suit your colouring and your vision so that you look your best. She even gave me advice on how to coordinate my flowers with my bridal look (e.g., by adding more golden tones and peachy pink flowers) to really make everything pop.

Melissa also has her own bridal accessories company and I purchased the lily of the valley hair vine, it was absolutely stunning! I received so many compliments about on it on the day.

Melissa was fantastic, super responsive, and very organised from the beginning. She organised for Grace and Alice, trusted make up and hair artists, to take care of my bridal party. My bridal party felt and looked fantastic on the day and thoroughly enjoyed spending the early part of the day with Melissa and her colleagues.

Melissa was an absolute star on our wedding day, she came to our venue to get us all ready and wasn't phased at all by the number of people flooding in and out of the room while she was working. I also had a 'cat scratch incident' on my eye the day before the wedding and she did a fabulous patch up job and nobody would have known! She even saved the day when my veil wouldn't attach properly - she's very multi-talented! Exceptional from start to finish! Would highly recommend as Melissa when above and beyond. She welcomed me into her home at the trial and arrived at 7am on the day to make 4 bridesmaids and myself feel beyond beautiful. One of the nicest people I have ever meet.

Melissa was just wonderful. I was a bit of a last minute booking - but she was so flexible in getting me in for a trial. Though my mum couldn't attend the trial she asked what kind of makeup my mum would want and we discussed this.
Melissa's communication with me was excellent - I couldn't fault it.
On the day - Melissa arrived promptly. She was warm and calm - just what you need on a wedding day! She is so organised and wrote down all of the products she'd used during our trial. She did my mum's make up and it was gorgeous and then she moved onto mine. I never felt rushed and she recreated the flawless look from the trial. She then made sure the finishing touches were done - and even showed my mum how to pin my veil in.
I would recommend Melissa to anyone. She was attentive and kind and so lovely!

My hair and make up on my wedding day was beautiful. I have received many compliments. I hade make up and hair trial first. Mellisa did go for extra mile and made sure all is perfect. I would definitely recommend Mellisa if you look for perfection.

Mel is so dedicated to her role and goes above and beyond to help and make you feel special. She spends lots of time with you discussing ideas and options so you go into any trials fully informed. She’ll work with you to ensure you are 100% happy and I felt so special on my big day. She’s also a lovely, calming addition to the bridal party in the morning!

Melissa is an amazing make-up artist but she also has a huge amount of experience and advice to offer on the style and look you would like to achieve. Melissa helped me so much with some areas I was struggling with and after the trial I felt so happy to have decided on exactly what style I was going for. She is also the perfect calming influence on the day, when others are perhaps fretting or excited, Mel gauges your emotions and has a very calming influence if needed!

I have never looked anywhere near as good as I did on my wedding day and many friends and family enquired about where I had my hair and make-up done. She is without a doubt at the top of her profession and hugely skilled but she is also an all round lovely person to have helping you on your wedding day.

I was very wary about having a make up artist to do my wedding make up as I was convinced that they would turn me into somebody I didn't recognise! Nothing could be further from the truth with my experience with Melissa Clare. From start to finish an absolute professional in all aspects of her work. She listened carefully to what I wanted to achieve-my brief which was a very natural look and then set about showing me varying ways in which that could be achieved . At all times she checked out that I was happy with what she was doing.Nothing was too much trouble and it was obviously how skilled and knowledgeable she was in her art. Melissa is naturally an easy person to have around and it was clear on the day of the wedding that she is very versatile and adaptable to situations and able to work well under the pressure of time constraints.The finished result was fantastic and gave me added confidence on my special day.Everybody commented on how good it looked and the difference it made to the photos -just amazing !
