I had an amazing experience with the wedding hairdresser and makeup artist, Ieva.

The trial was so much fun, trying out different styles and choosing the perfect one for the big day. Her communication and organisation were top-notch, making everything so easy to plan.

On the day itself, she brought a calming presence that made everything go smoothly and enjoyably. I felt incredibly beautiful, thanks to her incredible skills and attention to detail.

Ieva is fantastic at what she does and is so friendly as well. I had my hair and makeup trial with Ieva at her studio in Cambridge about 6 months before my wedding- this was an incredible experience and I was blown away by how skilled Ieva is- I'd never looked so good!! It made me so excited for the day. The trial was also a really useful experience as we tried out three different hairstyles, and my favourite one ended up being the complete opposite to what I thought I'd choose. Ieva is so easy to get along with and we chatted the whole time.
On the day, Ieva and two of her brilliant team were a great presence to have in the bridal prep room, and got us all ready on time, looking our absolute best. My mum was so pleased with her hair as no one had ever been able to get it to look that good before! Me, my bridesmaids and mum all had a great morning chatting with Ieva and her team, so getting ready for the day was a fun and stress-free experience. My hair and make up lasted so well all day, and Ieva left me a little top-up kit which was really useful for lipstick top-ups (which is all that was needed). I couldn't recommend Ieva enough and I wish we could do it all over again!

I found Ieva through Hitched.com searching for hair and make up artists based around Cambridge, and Ieva came up top - I was impressed that she had won a number of local and national awards. We met in March at her studio near Cambridge station for my bridal hair and make-up trial and I knew early on that I would be in the safest of hands. She is a lovely, talented person who is clearly very committed to being the best she can be at what she does. She executed Hollywood-style waves on my long hair perfectly, first try, and my make-up never looked so beautiful - I had no hesitation in confirming that the look was exactly what I wanted on our wedding day in July! Leading up to the wedding she was extremely organised, sending hair and make-up schedules for the bridal party in very good time and on the day itself she and her make up assistant were super organised and a wonderfully calm and friendly presence while we all got ready. I thoroughly recommend Ieva to all brides, she is exceptional - I cannot not imagine there is anyone out there better than her!

I couldn't have been happier with my wedding hair and makeup - Ieva listened carefully to my vision and executed it perfectly. Both my hair and makeup lasted beautifully all day long, and I have never felt more confident! The assistants that she brought to do hair and makeup for my bridesmaids were also wonderful, and everyone looked stunning. The whole morning was calmly and efficiently run. I would recommend Ieva to anyone!

It didn't take me long to find Ieva when I was looking for a wedding makeup-artist and I really believe I couldn't have chosen a better one. She make everything feel organized from the beginning, collecting details about our requirements and arranging the trial nice and early. With schedule in hand, I felt confident going into the day.

During the trial, Ieva was able to bring my dreams to life, creating a beautiful makeup look that made me feel like me but also like a new person at the same time. Not to mention the beautiful braided hairstyle I had been dreaming of.

On the day of the wedding, Ieva and her team helped to keep all the girls excited but also on track and everyone's makeup looked so beautiful which is only reflected in the photos. Everything about the experience made me feel special while also ensuring I didn't have anything to worry about. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ieva to everyone thinking about it, you won't regret it.

What can I say, Ieva was a consummate professional, absolutely amazing. She's responsive, flexible but most of all she is amazing at her work. I was so pleased with my makeup, and she helped with my mum and young bridesmaid aswell. If I could give Ieva 11/10 I would.

Ieva and her makeup assistant did bridal hair and makeup for me, the mother of the bride and my four bridesmaids. I've never had my hair or makeup done before but after reading all her reviews I knew I was in safe hands. At my trial she made me feel comfortable, answered any questions, let me try a more natural and a more glam look and responded to any tweaks I wanted to make. On the morning of my wedding she really helped to calm my nerves and was so lovely to chat to. Everyone was so happy with how they looked and I had so many guests complimenting my hair and makeup and asking who had done it. Of course I didn't hesitate to recommend Ieva!

Ieva was perfect!! She was so friendly and lovely to be around- and very talented! I was nervous for my trial as it was my second trial I had (my first one was with someone else) and the first one I did was not what I wanted- but Ieva absolutely nailed what I wanted first time, and listened to my questions and notes and took the time to make it perfect. On the day itself she was a very calming and confident presence so I felt I was in safe hands! The look itself was even better than in the trial as well. Her makeup technique was so natural but still looked like a real transformation, she knew how to cater to my skin type and the hair was beautiful too- she listened to my concerns about the curls dropping and made sure they were locked in for the whole day so I didn’t have to worry about it once! Ieva is so lovely. She took time in the trial to try lots of different options and make sure I was happy with my decisions. She was amazing on my wedding morning. My bridesmaid and I both absolutely loved our looks. I highly recommend Ieva to every bride.

Ieva is just the best. She helped me choose a beautiful hair/make up look for my wedding and executed it perfectly. I'm have incredibly pale skin and Ieva managed to match the makeup to my complexion flawlessly - no small feat!
