Amazing wedding hair by Laura!

Laura at Wishbone and Comb agreed to do my wedding hair at really short notice and responded straight away! She was so friendly and knew exactly how I wanted my hair. The prices were reasonable too!

December Wedding

I had Sarah and Claire do hair and make-up for my wedding in December (for both myself and bridesmaids).
They were absolutely brilliant, from the trial to the day itself - Laura was amazing at coordinating everything.
They captured exactly what I wanted and made me feel so wonderful for the entire day - I still looked polished at midnight! They also were fabulous company the morning of, and helped keep the chilled atmosphere.
I cannot recommend them enough.

Excellent experience for bride and bridal party

Laura was able to do hair and makeup for myself and my sister, niece and mother for my wedding. I had a hair and makeup trial previously with Laura so there was a good plan in place and everything went really well. I’d recommend Laura to anyone looking for bridal beauty services. She was a very calm and fun presence to get ready with on the day, and she was very flexible with what everyone asked for.

Wonderful Laura saved the day!

With only a week to go before my wedding, makeup and hair plans fell through and I was worried that I would have to get married looking like the Gruffalo. However, Laura came to the rescue with not only a short notice booking but the most beautiful updo incorporating my headband, makeup that made me feel like the most confident and beautiful version of myself, and a variety of bridesmaid styles and makeup too. She was so friendly but also calming, the whole morning seemed to flash by with great conversation and just the nicest experience. I couldn’t recommend Laura or Wishbone & Comb more enthusiastically and wholeheartedly.

Top bride experience

Natasha was fantastic with the bridesmaids and myself. Everyone had very different hair styles and ideas, and she did an amazing job of bringing everyone's looks together. She also helped my mum with her fascinator, and made sure it wouldn't come out during the day, even though she wasn't having her hair done.

She came to the house to do a trial, and put me at ease and made sure I was completely happy with my look.

Great hair & make-up supplier!

I had Kirsten and Hannah for make-up and hair and both of them were an absolute dream to work with. I met them both at my trial sessions and they were both really lovely and did an amazing job. They were both really receptive and adaptive to what me, my bridesmaids and my mum wanted, and made us all look and feel amazing on the big day.

A truly bespoke and lovely experience

I had a great experience with Wishbone and Comb. They were easy to get in touch with and responsive to my messages. I opted for a trial, which worked really well as I'm not a regular makeup wearer this process made me feel very at ease and I felt my makeup artist Sophie really responded to my needs and made the look incredibly bespoke and natural looking. It was also lovely building a rapport with Sophie before the big day and I felt was a vital step in making the wedding morning feel relaxed. She also provided me with samples to keep in my bag in case I needed a touch up, which was very thoughtful.

The hair and makeup were so beautiful as well and incredibly easy to wear and comfortable. The results were also perfect and just what I wanted and I felt truly amazing!

Great experience

Finding someone who did both hair and makeup was proofing tricky, and Laura took all the stress away by being able to coordinate hair and makeup artists from her team.

Loved my hair and make-up, and overall a good experience.

Made my day even more special

From first contact Wishbone and Comb have been amazing. Laura was very responsive and helpful. Sarah is lovely. She styled my hair and makeup beautifully. I felt like a Princess. I would thoroughly recommend.
