Nicola was absolutely wonderful! She listened to my wishes, was a great help in recommending some local hairdressers, always responded quickly and was very flexible on our wedding day (even when we had an extra bridesmaid and the groom wanted some powder as well :)). Because we ourselves only arrived in Scotland shortly before our wedding we did not have time for a trial session, but I sent Nicola some pictures of what I liked and I was definitely very happy with my make-up on our wedding day! I originally booked a MUA two years out from my wedding who cancelled on me four months out. Luckily, I had seen Stacey’s skills at The Scottish Wedding Unconvention and booked her as a secondary MUA for my mother in law and sister in law. After my original MUA cancelled, I contacted Stacey to see if she could fit in me and I thought I’d have the stress of finding a second MUA. Not only did Stacey flex to fit my bridal makeup in (including trial) but found me a second MUA so everyone in my bridal party was covered. I went from blind panic to it being completely sorted within half an hour and that was all because of Stacey. And what a blessing in disguise that cancellation was as I can’t imagine anyone else making me as beautiful as I felt on my wedding day, Stacey’s skills are unbelievable and I looked incredible on the day. All my bridesmaids she did worked on did too. I also did not want traditional bridal make up that looks light and natural, I wanted a glam look with a red lip and Stacey listened to this and was unphased by such a bold look. The morning of the wedding, getting ready went so smoothly and she worked so well with the other MUA and the two hairdressers. She also helped with photo set up, holding lights for our photographer for close ups and went an above and beyond of what you would expect from a MUA. Stacey is incredible and I would not hesitate to recommend her to any bride. Thank you for all your hard work Stacey, you are amazing!

Anna was friendly and responded quickly. I booked last minute and Anna was able to help. She was professional and did several different hairstyles that my bridesmaids asked for that looked lovely.

Couldn’t recommend Beth enough! I don’t usually get my nails done but Beth took her time to go over everything. I opted for a single appointment with a trial 3 weeks before. My nails lasted so well with no chips or breakages. Her warm and friendly personality puts you at ease!

My bridal party and I all had hair and make up done. My daughter looked like a model and everybody commented on how beautiful and timeless I looked. I had a Victorian gothic halloween wedding with a black dress and veil yet my hair and makeup created a very elegant look with my theme. My hair dod not budge all night and my make up lasted all night too. Worked very quickly too and prompt arrival. Very friendly. Highly recommend.

The service was brilliant! Everyone was happy with the results and how they looked on the big day. I would highly recommend to anyone. Always responded promptly and answered any questions.

I can’t recommend Colleen highly enough! I was so happy with my wedding day makeup and it lasted all day. She took the time at my trial to really understand what I was looking for, made great suggestions and was very flexible. She did makeup for four of us with very different skin types of styles and we all loved our makeup. She was just generally a great help and a calming presence on the day- thank you so much Colleen!

AnnMarie was very helpful as we were clueless. She got our makeup just right for the wedding. We were very happy with her work.

The girls worked their magic on myself and two bridesmaids and made sure we had a good laugh while getting ready. Very professional and so friendly.
