We found Claire through Hitched, and got in touch with her to find out more after falling in love with the photos she had shared and reading her reviews. From the very first contact, Claire was warm and welcoming. She came to us for a trial, and it couldn't have been better! She took the time to listen to our thoughts, to look through inspiration photos, and to find out about us as people. Both my mum and I had a trial, and for me, she absolutely hit the nail on the head, capturing exactly the hair and make up I was looking for, on the first try! After the trial, there were a couple of bits that my mum wasn't 100% sure about, and when I spoke to Claire about this, she couldn't have been lovelier, advising how we could make changes, and reassuring us throughout. Her absolute focus was making sure we were 100% happy, and she really did achieve that! On the day, she provided hair and makeup for myself, my mum, and my maid of honour.

When she told us what time she would arrive on the day of our wedding, I was a bit shocked as it felt very early, but throughout the morning, she made the whole morning feel so relaxing! When I was pulled in 50 different directions in the morning, Claire just asked what she could do to help, or got stuck in and just did what needed doing, and found a way around it to make it work! We did start to get a bit short for time towards the end, but she worked like a trooper to get us all ready to go in time! Claire laughed with us, cried with us, and truly made the morning feel so special! I spent most of my wedding day crying with happy tears, and my makeup did not budge... I don't know how, because I don't think I've ever cried so much in one day! Wedding makeup was a very different type of makeup to my usual bit of brow pencil and mascara, and I was a bit daunted at first, but from the photos we have seen so far, Claire absolutely nailed it, and I never knew I could look so incredible!

Thank you Claire, for helping to give us the day of our dreams! I will definitely be back for any future special occasions!

I cannot recommend Claire enough. Not only did she cater to all our different needs, nothing was too much.
On the day of the trial, Claire made sure she stayed as long as it took to make sure we were all happy with our looks. From that moment, you can tell Claire loves what she does and has a real passion for making your day special from the get go.
We had asked Claire for some adjustments to the looks she created on the trial day which she catered for without any question.
On the day itself, not only was Claire my hair and make up artist, she was someone to settle your nerves and sort all those lasti minute details like, when you forget to take the flowers out of the water, or holding the mirror whilst you put your jewellery on.
She made me feel relaxed, calm and I absolutely loved my look on the day.
Once she was sure we were all happy with our look, she bid us farewell as set off for the venue, leaving Claire to pack up whilst we headed to the venue. She even dropped the key off at the venue once she was done.
All in all, I would recommend Claire to anyone getting married and can't thank her enough!

Claire’s hair and make-up skills meant that I looked and felt amazing on my wedding day. She also helped me to feel at ease on the morning because of her great communication and thoughtfulness. Thank you Claire - you are amazing!

Wow where do I begin! I got married on Saturday 06.07.24 and Claire is honestly one of the nicest and most professional people I have ever met. From the get go, nothing was to much for Claire, any questions I had or any changes me and the bridal party wanted to make to any of our looks, Claire went above and beyond to create the looks we all adored!

From the trial to the wedding day Claire has been by my side and there is no words to describe how forever grateful I am for her. Thank you so so much for helping to created the wedding makeup and hair of my dreams. Every little detail was perfect! My mother in law, mum and bridesmaid absolutely loved their makeup! I just wish I could do everything all over again! Claire makes you feel so at ease and relaxed throughout the whole experience, my whole bridal party loved her!

Claire even gave me a beautiful bag on the wedding day with a lovely card to myself and my husband, tissues, blotting pads, hairspray, glitter straw and a full sized mac lipstick! 😍

Claire you are amazing and I have loved every moment of you doing my hair and makeup and getting to know you!

I would also like to say thank you to Annette who came with Claire on the wedding day to do my little girls, mother in laws, bridesmaids and mums hair. They all loved their looks so much! Annette was fabulous, nothing was ever too much trouble for her. Makes you feel so at ease throughout the whole time. Annette was also fantastic with my little girl, she adored the whole experience! Thank you for making it such an incredible morning!

You ladies are a master at what you do! Thank you so so much!

I want to thank Claire being an integral part of my wedding journey. From the initial consultation to the nerve-laden wedding day, her professionalism, calm demeanour and, of course, skills were evident. Claire, without you my wedding day would not have been the same. Not only did the make up and hair look incredible on all four of us but you helped us in so many more ways! From calming me down to helping me into my dress to even dropping bridesmaids off when the taxi didn't turn up.

Claire was truly amazing! Punctual, catered to my needs, gave me calming-down tips. The colour palette was beautiful and matched my red-headed skin tone smoothly.

The makeup lasted all day and evening, when me and my new Husband/friends partied til late. Nothing smudged!

During the makeup trial, she came to my home and I was insanely nervous but she made me feel comfortable and we had lots to talk about.

I had Claire as my wedding stylist, for me and my 2 brisemaids she was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. We all looked amazing. Very friendly and made you feel at ease throughout. I would highly recommend her no doubt.

Claire was fab both at trial and on my big day. She was such a calming presence and made me and my bridesmaids all at ease!

She did a fab job with our hair and makeup, we strongly recommend! It lasted all day and didn't smudge a milimetre! As the bride I also got a mac lipstick to top up later on in the night! Brilliant!

Claire was so responsive to any questions we had and suggested we use Pinterest to get some ideas which was fab as I was clueless!

She even locked up the house after us as we were cutting it fine for the ceremony!

Claire is super sweet and lovely but she was 15 minutes late for my trial then half an hour late on my wedding day. This added a lot of unnecessary stress to the day and made the rest of my morning prep really rushed when really you want to feel calm on the day.

At my makeup trial, her products are great and the base looked flawless but I wouldn't recommend her for eastern Asian faces. Our facial structures are different to western faces so when I wanted to try a more complex eye look, my eyes ended up looking really wonky, one eye bigger than the other. Always have a trial first!

I went with her for hair in the end and it did look lovely but not worth all the extra stress that morning.

Claire and her hair technician Anette were wonderful from beginning to end, offering a fun and flexible approach to my Wedding day!

From the trial to the final, finished, article Claire was supportive and approachable!

Claire have great ideas and was flexible toward trying different styles offering small tweaks up until the day!

Myself and my Bridesmaids never felt rush and Claire and Anette added a calming effect to the morning as a whole.

My make up suited me and felt comfortable throughout the day, it also lasted for hours without a smudge in sight!

I cannot thank Claire and Anette more for their work, I felt my best on my big day!

It was really lovely having Claire's services for my wedding. We had a hair and make-up trial, which helped me understand how it would work and what to expect, and then on the day Claire and Annette were so kind, flexible, and professional whilst getting me, my mother and bridesmaids ready for the wedding. They created a nice, chilled atmosphere, and were very kind and open to adjustments and requests. I would highly recommend! Last but not least, I felt amazing!
