A bit about me;

My name is Emma and i am currenyly a mum of two young children which keeps me on my toes. But one of unltimate passions is make up. I fell in love with makeup about 12 years ago when i attended my friends hen weekend and she had booked us all in to get her make done. Here was me thinking at the time i was ok at doing my makeup, i came out of that appointment feeling absolutely amazing and i thought i need to know how to do that! and make other peoiple feel like this! I managed to attend night college and gain my qualifications and just started there. Here i am 12 years later working with some of the most amazing clients and suppliers and getting to do the job i absolutely LOVE! FAQ's

• Where do you travel to? I am currently based in Alexandria so i dont tend to travel any longer than an hour from there. Get in touch if you have any enquiries.
• Do you come to the location on the morning of the wedding? Yes i can do but there is an additional call out charge for this. The minimum number of services for me to attend the location is 4 so this could include 4 make ups or 4 hairs or a mix of hair and makeup.
• Do you require a deposit? Yes, 25% of the balance will be due to confirm the booking. Date will not be held until this has been paid and it is non-refundable.
• Are trials mandatory? I wouldnt say they were mandatory but i would 100% recommend trials especially if your the bride. This is my time to get to know you, understand your preferences and desired look and i wont completely understand that if i dont meet you for a trial. I may also use products on your skin that you have never tried before and they may not agree with you so its best to be sure your happy with how your make up/hair is going to look.
• What is the maximum number of people you can do? The most i have done is 9 in a morning but that was a very early start (7.am) and a ceremony that started at 2 so it all depends when you need to be ready for. Things to bear in mind when booking your numbers includes if you have a photographer who wants to get photograph of your party do they need you ready a bit earlier for this, do you need to take travel time into consideration when traveling to your destination.
• Do you provide services for children? I can do with the permission of the parents/guardians but i need to be made aware of any allergies, skin issues in advance. I can do these at a reduced rate if only a few things needing done i.e. makeup some blush and lipstick. But if requiring a full face of make up this will be charged at the same price no matter the age. This also applies for hair, if wanting hair ups this will still take the same amount of time (If not more depending on length and thickness) this will be charged at the same price.

Hints & Tips

• Start looking for inspiration on instagram or pinterest for some desired looks. Please bear in mind alot of images have filters and have been altered to look amazing
• On the lead up to your trials and wedding day dont use any new products on your skin as you dont always know how your skin is going to react so dont make any major changes to your routine unless advised by your doctor or skin specialist.
• For the day of your wedding i always recommend buying the lippy and lip liner you tried from your trial so you can top up during the day. Also buy a powder and small brush to pat on your foundation coming into night time. This will set your foundation again and make it last a bit longer into the evening (Or just make sure one of your bridesmaids has some!)
• Fake tan - If your going for a fake tan please ensure you also get some on your face, doesnt have to be alot. From a makeup artists point of view it is an absolute nightmare to try and match up your face to the colour of your tan on your neck and i would like to avoid the stress :). I know some people dont like to get tan on their faces but even just slightly so you have a bit of colour.
• For hair trials, bring along your veil, hair piece, hair extensions anything you wish to add to your look. Again with online pictures alot of wedding hair can use additional items for example doughnuts to make the hair look thicker, extentions to make the hair thicker and longer. Just make sure you let me know your desired look and i can advise if any of these additional items will be required to achieve your look.
