They are both so incredibly skilled, but also made it a super comfortable environment for providing feedback and adjustments along the way. I'm someone who finds it difficult to offer feedback, so this was helpful for me. I also loved how Johanna gave me two proposals for makeup looks - one on each half of my face - which also made it easier for me to speak up about my preferences for style and products, and helped me think through what I liked and didn't like.

Incredible professionalism, attention to detail and care, and a world class finishing result. Their work has taken the 'hair & makeup' item on my wedding to-do list from a tickbox to one of the things I'm looking forward to most on my wedding day. So much so, that my sister and mother are signing up for H&MU services now too, lol.

I think the way to describe it would be “amazing”. Izabella just has a way to make you feel just really confident, comfortable and very relaxed. I think a lot of people couldn’t believe that it was my real hair. The way it was styled, everything in fact – and it just lasted through the whole event. Izabella took care of me for three wedding events, all very long, full days and parties, and I didn’t have to worry about my hair at all. It just stayed looking great. An incredible experience.

As a hijabi, finding a hairstylist for my all-female party was a mission. I wanted someone to understand my hair and suggest the best hairstyle to suit my features and Izabella was just the one! She, and her assistant were beyond incredible making my mum and I feel at ease throughout the whole journey. During the initial consultation, we discussed hair types/lengths and talked about different potential hair styles until we were satisfied with our choices. On my big day, Izabella stayed with me for an additional hour to ensure that both my mum and I were comfortable and pleased with everything. Words cannot explain how happy I was, she made me look and feel like a princess and for that I'm forever grateful.

Izabella and her team are very knowledgeable, nice, have a great attitude and are very professional. They take the time to understand your wants and needs and give you advice based on that. She didn't just do my hair on my wedding day, she also did the colour and it all turned out amazing. I felt gorgeous on my wedding day and she played a huge role.

They kept in contact regularly on the head up to my wedding day and were very clear on how things would work. We had a couple of video calls before everything and it was very well managed. 10/10 would recommend. If you go with Izabella, you're in great hands!

Sunday morning at 10am Izabella and her lovely make up artist came to my hotel to do my hair and make up for my son’s wedding as well as hair and make up for two of my friends. They put us at ease immediately. They managed to give 3 women in their 60’s a natural fabulous look in make up and hair . What’s more the make up and hair lasted until 12 midnight and survived a few tears of joy during this magical occasion .

Izabella's Hollywood waves were perfection - my hair had never ever looked as good as it did on my wedding day and I was showered with compliments all day.

Johanna was very patient with me during make up trials and me wanting to try different products and diligently took notes to ensure she got the look exactly as I wanted it, and it was flawless and lasted all day.

Both had a very calm and reassuring presence on the day to help me get ready.

They make a great team and I highly recommend!

My mum, sister and I had our hair and make up done at Izabella's studio for my engagement party. We had the whole studio to ourselves which was lovely. From start to finish it was amazing! They were so friendly, understood our vision completely and made it come to life. I wouldn't hesitate coming back for make up and hair for any occasion!
