Hi, I’m Katie, the owner of KatieP Makeup. I am a bridal makeup specialist with over 11 years makeup experience and 6 years experience within the wedding industry. I started off my training doing Theatre & Media Makeup at Bristol college, which was where I found my love for bridal makeup.
I am a 2024 bride and I have been with my partner for 11 years and we have the most adorable miniature dachshund, called Polly. I live in Bristol and I have my own private, luxury home makeup studio.
I travel all across, Bristol, Bath, the Cotswolds, Wiltshire and Somerset for my brides.
My Makeup Style
Over the last 6 years as a bridal makeup specialist, I’ve really honed in on my bridal makeup style. I love to create makeup which enhances each individual bride. My makeup style emphasises my brides features. My style is very much soft glam eyes, paired with glowing skin which will look photo flawless all day and all night.
I only use the best of the best brands for my brides. My kit includes brands like; Charlotte Tilbury, Pat McGrath and Vieve to name a few.

What is included in the wedding package?
My bridal package includes; 1.5hrs Makeup Trial, Makeup on the day and lash application. Travel expenses will be added where required
How far in advance should I contact you?
As early as possible. I always say it is never too early to book your bridal makeup, on average I book in weddings 1 year to 18 months in advance
Do you work at homes?
Yes
What is the charge for travelling?
Travel is free within a 10 mile radius of my studio after that a travel charge is added at the government recommendation of 45p per mile
What is your main business area?
Make up
Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?
Yes
How many people can you beautify for one wedding?
My maximum number of makeups I can do on my own for a bridal party is 8 and this number is time dependent
Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?
Yes
What are the forms of payment?
All payments for bridal makeup are via bank transfer and I also offer the option to pay by card for beauty treatments

Absolutely incredible!
Could not have asked for a better make-up artist! From the initial make-up trial right through to the day, everyone looked stunning and Katie is just the loveliest person you could want with you on the morning of your wedding!
Nothing was too much trouble, including lint rolling dog hairs of my (brides) dress moments before the ceremony after first look pictures with the pupper.

Amazing and very highly recommended 💕
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your hard work on my wedding day. You made us both feel so glamorous and you are such a lovely sweet person and I very much enjoyed your company even from my trial.
You are very professional but still made me feel very comfortable as if it were a friend doing my make up.
You were so patient and even went that extra mile to make my closest friend feel great even though it was a little last minute!.

Bloody Amazing!
Katie was absolutely amazing! From meeting her at the wedding fayre, to my trial, small little questions and the big day, nothing was too much for Katie, always quick at replying and really helpful! Katie was so professional and made me feels so pretty on my wedding day, I’ve also bought the makeup that she used on me with her discount code! I will definitely be using Katie again in the future! Thank you sooo much!❤️❤️

Fabulous, calming bridal makeup
Katie was great both in the trial and on the day. I had a very fixed idea of what I wanted for my wedding day and it was not conventional bridal hair and makeup. Katie worked with me to ensure the colours and application met all of my expectations. I felt like myself but the best version of me.
She has a very calm nature which is just what you need when the nerves set in and I left for the ceremony feeling great.
My hair and makeup lasted until I went to bed!

Simply the Best!
Kaite did such a fantastic job of making myself and Bridal party look and feel amazing. Not only that but she helped to make the morning run smoothly drying flowers and opening doors to name a few. Thank you so much 💓.

The best decision you'll make
I cannot recommend or thank Katie enough. She was kind, responded quickly but most importantly she made me look and feel beautiful. Katie was chatty and lovely with the bridal party and exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much Katie!

Perfect fit for my wedding day
Couldn’t recommend more, Katie and her assistant Chloe fit in well with my crazy family and friends. Katie has great experience and shares it beforehand in the trial and emails leading up to the day. She gave skincare tips to make sure my skin was exactly as needed for the day. Makeup was perfect and lasted all day and night, she even helped button up my dress!! So happy I found Katie as my makeup artist for my wedding

Would not have stayed so calm the morning of without Katie!
Katie was absolutely amazing! She was able to keep me calm in the morning as she understood that I was stressing out with so many people around me at once.
Katie also helped out so many of my family members with their make up looks, my mum doesn’t generally wear make up so Katie was able to tell her what looked nice and how to make it last throughout the day. Myself and both my mum and mother in law all had complements throughout the day about our make up.

Incredible MU Artist
Katie did wedding makeup for me, my mum and bridesmaid and we all looked beautiful. She was so knowledgeable about what products work best for our skin and offered really helpful advice about how best to prepare our skin for the big day. Katie was more like a friend by the end, and is just a really lovely person aside from being amazing at what she does. My makeup lasted all day (even in sweltering June weather!) and I was so happy with the look, as was my mum and bridesmaid.
