Able to travel all over Yorkshire,and UK destination weddings. Kay Binnersley Bridal Hair and Makeup is known for their holistic approach to wedding beauty.

Kay uses high-quality products that are cruelty-free, vegan, and eco-friendly. During your consultation, you can tell her all about the colours, details, and touches that you'd like your hair and makeup to feature. You are welcome to visit her luxury salon prior to your big day to discuss your perfect wedding aesthetic. Video calls can be organised to ensure I am the right fit for your wedding.

For larger weddings I have a small team of exceptional hairdressers and make up artists I work with.

Small weddings also accommodated with no minimum fee charge.

For a trusted Service, with an expert background in Bridal hair and make up.

What is included in the wedding package?

When booking both Hair and make up a special Package price is charged. Included in the service, hair and skin preparation, to ensure the lasting quality , padding for the hair if required, pins,etc

How far in advance should I contact you?

It is advisable to book as soon as you have booked your Wedding Date. I am generally booked a year in advance. Popular dates and months book very quickly. Avoid disappointment and secure your date

Do you work at homes?

Yes

What is the charge for travelling?

From £25.00 styling on location, plus 70p per mile . Local weddings incur a lower fee. (Styling on location is the traveling time to and from a venue.)

What is your main business area?

Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?

Yes

How many people can you beautify for one wedding?

I work with small and large wedding parties. I have a small highly qualified team that works along side me on large weddings. Myself and my team stay till your are in your outfit and ready to go

Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?

Yes

What are the forms of payment?

Card payment and Bank transfer. Low booking fee to secure the date

Very amazing

Kay is a absolute brilliant hairstylist she is such a lovely lady she went above and beyond for me and my bridle part y not just for hair but also helped myself out by gettingr me into my dress she did not leave till the very end her hairstyles are very beautiful and nothing ever seemed too much for her so if you are looking for a bridle hairstylist kay is the lady thankyou so much kay for all your hard work and making me feel so lovely

Best hair and makeup I could have asked for

Kay was brilliant throughout the whole process of booking her for my hair and makeup on my wedding day. From initial discussions, to coming to me on the day of my wedding, Kay always listened to my requests, was super communicative, and was overall superb and professional. She also made me feel super chilled and laid back on the morning of my wedding, and the night before when she came to pre wash my hair. I couldn't have asked for anyone better for my special day.

Hair and make up

Kay is absolutely fantastic! The service she provided was above and beyond hair and make-up! I can’t recommend her enough. She created 3 amazing hairstyles and we all looked beautiful with a natural look at lasted all day. Our wedding was on a very hot day and not once was I concerned about my hair or makeup. In the evening I looked the same as when I arrived to get married. I never applied anymore makeup throughout the day. Thank you Kay you made my wedding preparations so smooth and calm throughout. XX

Perfect hair and make up for a perfect day

I would like to thank Kay and Lucy for doing mine, my mums and best friend’s hair and make up for my wedding day.
We all felt so comfortable with the team and they made us all feel beautiful for my wedding day.
My hair was certainly the talking point of the wedding and I would recommend Kay for bridal hair- she has won awards for a reason!
Thank you again for ensuring all was perfect for the big day including dressing me, putting on my jewellery and perfume.

Perfect hair and make up

Kay has been amazing! I had only a vague idea of my hair and make-up, and from there she did great and even improved from trial to the big day. Had a lot of compliments. On the day during preparation, she was professional, and on time. I highly recommend her.

Amazing skill, communication and friendliness

We chose Kay to do the hair for my daughter's wedding at Wentbridge House. She was very responsive, very friendly and flexible when it came to pre-wedding trials. It was great that she had worked at the hotel before and with the photographer ( Martin Hillary - excellent ). She knew the process and put our minds at rest and this is in addition to her excellent skills with hair. Do not hesitate!

Perfect Hair and makeup

I would highly recommend Kay Binnersley Bridal Hair and makeup. I was so pleased with the end result for both me and my 5 bridesmaids. She listened to what I wanted, advised and guided me a long the way, was so very calm and super organised on my big day , I was in good hands! I did have a hair and make up trial with Kay so felt at ease on the day , she had pictures and notes from the trial and everything was absolutely perfect. My make up on the day was done by Lucy and wow she did a fabulous job , and I even felt confident enough to try lashes for the first time.

Absolutely fantastic!

Two Amazing Ladies!

Myself and my wife got married in September last year. From the beginning, Kay and Lucy were so reassuring and professional, whilst having my hair done, it was like I’d known them both my whole life, not just a matter of months. The level of excellence and talent displayed that day was incredible. My wife and her bridal party and hair and makeup done, so it was a hectic day, but Kay and Lucy never saw it as a challenge, they were happy to be apart of the day with us, they felt like family. I am so grateful for them, they showed up on time, we had a hair trial with them that was a great thing as I decided to change my hair style for on the day, but Kay was very adaptable and full of ideas, they eased our minds with their positive attitude and defiantly calmed my nerves. The photo shows just how beautiful the bridal party and my wife looked, and they were all very happy with Kay and Lucy’s hard work. Thank you to you both, you’ll never understand how grateful we are for you both ❤️

Simply the best

After a very stressful experience with a previous hair and make up artist we had originally booked I left it until only a few months before the wedding to find someone new, well when people say everything happens for a reason they are correct, I am so glad that I stumbled across Kay on hitched and knew from her social media portfolios that she was the artist I wanted to use, she was very accommodating when I needed a trial on a certain day due to work and managed to fit me in a few weeks later, she listened to what I had to say and how I would like my hair/makeup and executed this to a tee. One the day of the wedding Kay and Lucy came to the venue at an early time of 6.15 to start the mammoth task of the hair and make up for the bridal party, they had come with a plan and never once seemed stressed if this plan wasn’t running smoothly, they met all timings necessary for the morning to run smoothly and even stayed until I was in my dress to make sure that everything was perfect, Kay managed to calm me down when emotions got high and truly went above and beyond her role that day and I will be forever grateful for this wonderful lady! In short if you need a hair and makeup artist for a wedding or any event look no further!

Words can't explain how amazing this lady is!

Kay is amazing. Very professional and a very calming aura throughout the morning. The hair styles were amazing and stayed in throughout the day.

Brilliant hair and make up

Kay was absolutely amazing, she not only did the bridal groups hair and makeup but she kept us stress free and on time as she is so organised plans to perfection. Kay and the makeup artist listened to what we wanted and made it happen . I’m so glad that I had Kay on the day, she is friendly , approachable and professional !

Perfect and pleasant

Kay did really an amazing job on my hair done and make up on my big day. She’s so gentle and friendly to listen to what I like and my preference style. It looks exactly what I sent her a ref, good to keep checking up if I’m happy with things like color tone of make up or curl style which made it goes really well and I was really happy on how I look. Thank you Kay for being amazing and open to what I asked for. Highly recommended her for the next bride:)
