Laura is absolutely fantastic. I initially contacted her through Hitched as I was looking for someone who could do my hair and makeup for two days - wedding ceremony and then the party the next day. I also chose her as she specialises in Vegan and cruelty-free makeup, which is super important to me.
From the first moment of contact I knew I’d made the right decision. Laura booked me in for the Friday (ceremony) then worked out that she could come straight from another wedding on the Saturday (party) to do my evening hair and makeup. She arranged another fab colleague, Gemma, to do my bridal party hair and makeup.
The bridal trial was SO fun, we immediately chatted like old friends and she gave me exactly what I had pictured. She also gave me great skincare tips which I became obsessed with for the next few months before the wedding :-)
On the ceremony day itself she arrived to my suite, a ball of happy energy. She chatted all the way through to me and my bridal party, and was nothing but lovely, kind and professional.
For our reunion on the party day, this time at my house, it was even better - as we’d not planned this “look” she went with my ideas, even incorporating my makeup after I did a quick dash up to my bedroom. She fussed my cat, and we continued our chats again!
I cannot recommend Laura highly enough. As someone who's worked with a fair few hair and makeup professionals, she's been my favourite and I'm already planning my next event so I can hire her again.

From the first time I met Laura at my trial, I knew she would make me look and feel like an actual princess on my wedding day! She filled me with complete confidence. I have very dry skin and psoriasis and Laura was able to recommend a skincare regime that literally transformed the skin on my face. In my whole adult life, I have honestly never had such soft skin.
On the wedding day, Laura was such a lovely and fun presence. She did hair for my bridesmaids and they all looked amazing! I couldn’t have been happier with the way I looked. My hair was better than I had imagined and my makeup was beautiful and yet I didn’t feel caked in make up. I would thoroughly recommend Laura to anyone, she is amazing!

I booked Laura for my hair on my wedding day and she was just perfect. From my first enquiry she was friendly and professional and gave me everything I needed. Meeting her at trial was just a lovely experience and she really understood what I wanted. My wedding day came around and Laura was right on time even though it was early! She was chatty and calm and it was so lovely having her with us as we were getting ready. Some of my bridesmaids changed their minds that day (!) and Laura was still so accommodating. I found Laura on Hitched. I emailed Laura to ask for a price for H&M for myself & 2 bridesmaids. Laura came back quickly. I then booked a trail for myself. It was a great experience. Laura is professional & chatty. She makes you feel that you are her only client. We chatted through what I wanted & Laura got to work. I never felt I was having H&M that Laura wanted it was all about how comfortable I felt & what I wanted. On the big day Laura turned up bang on time & started doing her magic. She made us all feel relaxed & pampered. I looked amazing & exactly the look I was going for. Hollywood glam. I had Hollywood waves with made up eyes & lashes, H&M lasted all day, even though Laura gave me a touch up pot. Which I did not need. It was perfect. If you are looking for a fabulous make-up artist for your wedding or special event then look no further. Laura did all of my bridal party make-up and boy she didn't disappointment. She has such a lovely approachable personality and listens to what type of look you want to achieve to make you look natural but extremely special. Laura helped with various other roles on the day from helping me into my dress, shoes and fixing my jewellery to reminding me at the very last minute to have a spray of perfume. She has a lovely calm demeanor which is needed on such occasions and she kept me focused and managed the time of the proceedings perfectly. ❤️

I loved getting to know Laura in the run up to my wedding day! She was so relaxed and we had a right giggle, all whilst she created my dream look for the day. We did two trials and Laura kindly travelled to me which was such a luxury. My hair is incredibly thick and Laura never made it feel like an issue; instead she gave me lots of options and I ended up with something I absolutely loved. Laura was amazing to have with me the morning of my wedding. She had put together a great time schedule for me and my bridesmaids, making sure everyone felt there was enough time for them, and without rushing us out the door. She is incredibly pleasant and helped me get the right look, taking my feedback into account and made quick changes. I felt heard and we quickly found the best look for me. I never had any issues waiting for replies from her. She only uses products that are vegan and cruelty free, which meant a lot to me. The booking process was easy and quick and she was super communicative which is crucial. She explained how we would work together to create my dream look.
When the day if the trial arrived I was so excited and Laura greeted me with a warm smile and a fab cup of coffee.
We discussed my likes, dislikes. I bought along my inspo picture, we discussed which bits would work and which bits to avoid because if my age with the fine lines and wrinkles. She worked with my tones and eye colour. The process was thorough and I was able to see each step of the way and say yay or nay. Her kits was clean and tidy and her brushes were spotless
After the trial I was asked to give feed back on how the makeup held, this is a great idea as she doesn't know how my skin behaves etc, she's not a witch! She said there is always a plan b, I just needed to let her know.

The lead up to the day was fab, she sent me a text the night before and on the day Laura was a bundle of energy to get us all up and ready. When the time came, Laura knew I was nervous and she did an excellent job of keeping me calm. My makeup was stunning, the best I've felt, ever. It lasted so well, in fact I slept in it and wore it for breakfast!! I was touched by her gift to, which is a lovely and I use it most days!
