Laura's makeup style is to bring out the best in you, with her background in art complimenting her colour choices. Her skin technique is flawless and glowing, keeping it as fresh as possible. Her hair work can be loose and undone but also structured and clean, depending on your desired look. If you have a big party of bridesmaids, she can pull together a team of pro makeup artists and hair stylists from her film career to get everyone camera-ready and have a laugh. One part of the job that Laura feels proud of is being such an integral part of somebody's big day and making connections that will fill your wedding morning with calm and creative energy.

What is included in the wedding package?

We will usually do a trial at a time and place to suit you to go through potential looks. You can book either just hair, just makeup, or both. Once settled we will be in touch right up to the day

How far in advance should I contact you?

I can be booked up to a year in advance, but can also accommodate a much shorter turnaround time

Do you work at homes?

Yes

What is the charge for travelling?

45p per mile outside a 5 mile radius from my home in Bow, East London

What is your main business area?

Make up

Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?

Yes

How many people can you beautify for one wedding?

I usually ask my film and tv colleagues to help if the party is larger than 4. I always carve out more time for the bride for skin prep, massage and final touches like body glow and attaching veils

Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?

Yes

What are the forms of payment?

I accept payments by Paypal, cash, bank transfer, Monzo

A super relaxed morning and I was very happy with my understated wedding makeup.

I was apprehensive about having my makeup done by someone else for my wedding as I wear very little day-to-day and wanted to make sure I felt like myself. However, I'm so glad I had Laura that morning to do my make-up for me. She really listened to me, understood the brief completely and I felt totally happy and comfortable with the end result. Laura has such a calming presence which helped put me at ease during what was a pretty nerve-wracking morning. Whilst Laura is super chill, this was not at the expense of her professionalism by any means. I think it's important to choose the people you include in your wedding wisely, so I would recommend Laura for both her artistry and because she will be a great person to have around you on your special day!

I absolutely adored my wedding hair & make up. It was just as I had imagined and asked for. Laura is a super calming influence on your big day and very talented - making the look I wanted come to life. I wish I could have my hair & make up done by her everyday!

Highly professional and fantastic results

Laura did my make up for my wedding. She was highly professional and took a lot of care listening to me on what I wanted and advising when I wasn’t sure. She spent a lot of time over the trial so I was comfortable with what we had planned for the day. She’s also lovely and calm and relaxed which is what you need on the day! Thank you Laura

Professional and personable

I was delighted I chose Laura as the make-up artist for my wedding day, I couldn’t recommend her more highly. Laura was very professional yet relaxed and friendly, which I really appreciated on an otherwise nervous morning. She did the make-up for my bridesmaids too, who also loved their look.

On the morning of such a big, special day it’s important to choose calm professional suppliers to be there with you and that’s exactly what Laura was. Laura is clearly an expert too, giving valued advice on what make-up to go for and she has a lot of experience as a make-up artist with an extensive make-up kit of high quality products.

Laura was the most wonderful make up artist on my wedding day and throughout. She suggested a look for me, talking through the product and colours she would use in our trial before the big day. I felt really special and loved working with Laura.

She made me feel like a Hollywood Star

I had never before felt so glamorous and, sadly, never since either! With years of experience working with the world's biggest stars under her belt, I knew I'd be in safe hands, but Laura brought so much more to the morning of my wedding. Amidst a flurry of highly charged bridesmaids and a super-stressed bride (me!), she brought a calm that was so needed and welcomed. She handled last-minute requests from bridesmaids with aplomb and scheduled the whole morning perfectly, giving us all enough time and attention. The final look was something I could have only dreamed of; I really felt like a million dollars. In the months leading up to the wedding, Laura gave me lots of ideas about my hair and make-up, drawing from a deep pool of influences and experience with brides. I would 100% recommend.
