Services Offered

Amanda Roberts Hair & Makeup provides a range of on-location services for a calm and relaxing start to your day. Wedding packages can include hairstyling and makeup application, but they can be customised to fit your needs. She's happy to provide these services for your wedding party, as well. For younger members of your entourage, Amanda can apply a light amount of blush and lipstick, as well as hair styling. In order to help ensure the perfect look, Amanda offers hair and makeup trials that can be done at the location of your choice.

Amazing makeup and hair artist - you want the best for your wedding after all!

Amanda did my makeup artist for my wedding last week, and she was absolutely amazing. She did the makeup for my mother in law and my mum as well, and both of them looked stunning! Everyone was talking about how beautiful and natural my hair and makeup looked, and as someone who doesn't wear makeup or have the skill to do makeup, I really could not have done it without her. She was friendly, easy to talk to, and just all round great to work with. 100% recommend Amanda for your makeup artist for any event!

Amanda did my hair and make-up for my wedding in March. She did a fantastic job - exactly what I wanted, a natural look that made me feel comfortable but looked far better in person (and photos) than I usually do!
She was very professional to deal with in the run-up and a very calming presence on the day itself. It all felt very relaxed and I’m hugely grateful - I’d highly recommend Amanda to anyone else getting married!

Amanda did my hair and make up during my wedding last 7 July 2018. She was lovely!
From the trial, she listened to what I wanted, providing ideas and guidance where she was asked but never imposing on what she prefers. She took the time to work with my hair which proved to be a bit of a challenge due to my short layered haircut.
Nevertheless, she was able to transform my hair into something even better than what I initially had in mind and I absolutely loved it!
My make up was also done the way I want it - light and looking very natural.
I've gotten a lot of compliments on my hair and make up saying that I looked like a princess!
Thanks to Amanda's talent, patience and perseverance! She's very passionate with what she does and that's really the key to a very top quality service that's worth your money spent! Cheers Amanda and all the best!

Beautiful Wedding Hair and Make-Up

Amanda was thoughtful and patient during my hair and make-up trial. She spent time trying both hair up and down. On the day itself, Amanda went the extra mile to ensure she was able to make it (beast from the east and storm Emma to contend with!) Her presence on the day was calming and she was professional, kind and helpful at all times. I would highly recommend Amanda.

Calm and professional

So glad I booked Amanda for hair and make up. Would highly recommend a trial if you are uncertain of what you might like. She's clearly highly experienced - providing sensible advice but always ensuring the client is comfortable. Her calm and friendly manner made everything really easy and stress free on the day.

Loved my hair and make-up

I booked Amanda for a trial for my wedding following the reviews from this website and I'm so pleased to have found her.
She managed to tame my curly hair and it turned out just the way I dreamed. I wanted a natural look for my make-up and she achieved this and I'm pleased to say it lasted the whole day.
She is a pleasure to have around and put everyone at ease, doing my mums hair, sisters hair and make-up and beautiful hair for my flower girl.
I would highly recommend her and will definitely book again should I have another special occasion to attend.

Thank you for all your hard work on Friday! All my bridesmaids looked stunning and you could see on their faces how pretty they felt.

Book Amanda now!

I could not recommend Amanda highly enough - she was lovely to have around the morning of my wedding, working calmly and efficiently to complete beautiful bespoke up dos for me and each of my three bridesmaids and also did my and my mum's make up in a natural style that suited us both. My make up and hair lasted all day and I've never been told so many times by friends and family how beautiful I looked (hubby was impressed too!!) Thank you Amanda!!

Wonderful wedding hair and make-up!

I got married recently and I heard about Amanda on the East Dulwich Forum and so booked her to do my hair and make-up. All I can say is that she did the most amazing job and understood the look I was going for perfectly. I didn't opt for a trial as it was close to the day itself but I was SO happy with the final result (and couldn't believe the transformation!) Also, it was a dampish day and my hair and make-up both held up so well and still looked perfect 12 hours later. As well as being extremely talented, Amanda was really lovely and very professional to deal with. I honestly can't recommend her to others enough.

Amanda is Amazing!!

Amanda did my bridal hair and make up. Also managed to do my mum and sister's make up as well as one of my bridesmaid's hair. I feel so lucky to have found her! Super professional, talented and best of all made us all feel relax and easy on the day. I would highly recommend Amanda. She was simply fantastic!

So Happy I Went Back For More

I found Amanda through this website. It felt slightly risky not to have a personal recommendation on what has so far been the only day in my life when I’d had a professional photographer taking my photo but it was well worth the risk.
After initially being slightly apprehensive, I enjoyed the experience of both trial and the wedding day. Amanda is calm and talented, she knows what she is doing.
I had had quite a clear idea (I think) of hairstyle and Amanda was able to achieve this. We discussed what sort of make up I usually wear but was happy to let Amanda try out what she thought was best. I was not disappointed.
A few weeks later I had a party to celebrate my wedding and I booked Amanda again.
I hugely enjoyed Amanda being part of my wedding day and I definitely recommend her.
