Throughout her 17+ years of experience, owner Maya has worked with hundreds of clients preparing for their big day. She is passionate about her work and will treat you with the utmost care while you're in the makeup chair.

Maya Lewis's makeup kit features all-vegan, cruelty products for an ethical, eco-friendly experience. She is happy to begin with a hair and makeup trial to ensure that each detail matches your preferred aesthetic. While based in Buckinghamshire, she is happy to travel throughout London and the surrounding counties and the wider South East region. Whether you prefer a simple, elegant look or a boho-chic style, Maya Lewis Makeup will work to make sure you and your wedding party stand at the altar looking and feeling beautiful.

What services do you offer?

What is included in the wedding package?

Bridal hair and makeup trial. Bridal hair and makeup on the day. Discount is only applied to larger groups. Bridal party members and travel expenses will be extra depending on the package you desire

How far in advance should I contact you?

A year in advance is good to get a date set in the diary, but I also take bookings anything up to 2-3 months if I have your date available

Do you work at homes?

Yes

What is the charge for travelling?

I charge 45p per mile to and from the venue, this is also applied for the trials should you require me to travel to you

What is your main business area?

Make up

Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?

Yes

How many people can you beautify for one wedding?

For larger bookings ( more than 5 people ) I will require an assistant or more depending on how many people require having hair and or makeup done, this will be added accordingly

Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?

Yes

What are the forms of payment?

Payment can be made in instalments if you are on a budget. Half the amount is due on the day of the trial and the remainder 4 weeks before the wedding

Great Wedding make up

Maya is so lovely, talented, has a huge selection of quality make up and takes so much pride and care in every detail she does.
Maya did a make up trial for myself as the bride and my mum as MOB. They both went so well and we were excited to have it done on my wedding day.
On my wedding day Maya did make up for me, my mum and 4 bridesmaids. All of us looked incredible and the make up stayed on until we went to bed. Thank you so much! I would highly recommend Maya for make up!

Wonderful experience

Maya did the hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. She is super friendly, flexible and so easy to chat to. On the day itself everybody commented on how calm the atmosphere was, we were all ready on time with plenty of time to spare. The hair and makeup looked really beautiful, Maya really listened and understood the brief perfectly, we went for natural and glowy makeup with loose wavy hair. All of the girls felt really comfortable and confident with the results, and I was amazed at how much volume she was able to work into my hair!
It was really important to me to find somebody that worked with cruelty free and vegan products and Maya was the perfect choice, the products she used were really lovely. I would highly recommend Maya to anyone looking for a stress free and quality experience! Thank you!

Gorgeous wedding hair and makeup

Maya and her assistant did hair and makeup for myself and bridesmaids for my wedding, everything looked amazing! I got lots of compliments throughout the day on my makeup and my hair, it also looked the exact style I wanted. Thoroughly recommend!

Great hair and makeup artist

Maya did my hair and makeup for my wedding last June and I cannot recommend her enough, she was super professional as well as being really friendly. Maya put me at ease on my big day and my hair and makeup looked amazing!
