Hello! I'm Sali aka Ms Moo Make Up. I'm a wedding makeup artist based in Hockley, in the city centre of Nottingham. While I primarily work within the East Midlands, I'll travel wherever I'm told for weddings - I've done weddings in all across the country, from Croydon to Llangollen as well as Southend-On-Sea to North Yorkshire! :)
I'm on hand to bring your wedding vision to life, making sure I enhance you and your beauty, and accentuating your best features. I love my skincare and creating a beautiful base with the best skin of your life! I've been a wedding makeup after for over 13 years, so I know a thing or two about technique and skill to pay the bills!
I'm 100% cruelty-free makeup artist, and can tailor to a vegan kit too. Being cruelty-free is really important to me, and more and more clients are looking for ethically concious wedding suppliers. It's super important to me that you feel confident on your big day and look picture perfect from first glance to last dance; you and your wedding party will feel as good as you look!
I'm also a member of the LGBTQ+ community - love is love, and I'm very proud that Ms Moo Make Up is a registered safe space in Nottingham on the Notts Trans Hub.

What services do you offer?
Makeup
What is included in the wedding package?
Your trial, skincare consultation, makeup on the big day, lashes, up to 20 miles of travel, and a touch-up kit for the big day! You'll get 100% of my attention as I only take on one wedding a day
How far in advance should I contact you?
12-18 months, but I have been known to have availability in less than 6 weeks! If I can't fulfil your date myself, I will always try to make a recommendation of someone who is available; just ask!
Do you work at homes?
Yes
What is the charge for travelling?
The first 20 miles of travel on your wedding day are included in the wedding package, then charged at 50p per mile there after
What is your main business area?
Make up
Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?
Yes
How many people can you beautify for one wedding?
I've done up to 10 people before so I can do as many as you need! If it's a really early start, I will likely get an assistant to help get things underway without starting in the middle of the night
Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?
Yes
What are the forms of payment?
BACS, Paypal, Stripe, or cash. No cheques

Book Before It’s Too Late! 💖
I wish there was an option to give Sali 10 ⭐️! I have had 2 make up lessons & she did my wedding make up! I cannot get enough! She is one of the most caring & supportive people on top of being extremely talented! If you haven’t booked in with her what are you waiting for!

A wonderful make up artist
From first contacting Sali, I knew they were the absolutely most perfect person to do my make up for my wedding. Sali is so approachable, kind and thoughtful. My make up was perfect and lasted all day. My bridesmaids also felt their best.

Best MUA Ever
Sali was absolutely incredible from the moment I got in contact with her to even after the wedding. My make up was absolutely perfect, it stayed on amazingly all day and she made me so comfortable and relaxed throughout everything. 100% recommend!

Supberb, Friendly, Professional and Talented
I couldn't have picked a better person to do my make up on my wedding day than Sali. I chose her initially because I loved the photos of her work and could see lots of the make up looks she created for others on me. I was looking for something classy and not too over the top - something that really reflected who I am and Sali delivered in spades. During my trial, she made me feel at ease and asked me lots of questions about how I usually do my make up to make sure I was comfortable and we built a look collaboratively. On the wedding day, she was such a calm yet fun presence as we got ready. She did make up for me and my mum and gave me a great touch up kit (including a full size lipstick!) to keep me going - it wasn't needed as the make up stayed so well, despite the rain and exuberant dancing! Not only is Sali and magnificent make up artist, she is also such a lovely person, caring and inclusive, and I wish I could have her do my make up every day!

Down to earth, fabulous and calm!
I booked Sali- Ms Moo for my wedding on the 24th September 2022. I had to change venue for the morning and she was so flexible and understanding, nothing was too much trouble. I had my trial and I was instantly put at ease, I don’t wear a lot of makeup so wanted something natural, the no makeup, makeup look! The morning of the wedding, she arrived and got us all in order! It was like a military operation 😂 5 bridesmaids and myself to get ready! She ran on time, kept us all calm and provided the banter! Value for money was spot on, you get a little survival bag for the day too which includes a full size lipstick of your colour choice. I would 100% book Sali again, no questions asked! X

Perfection
What can I say, from the very first message I received from Sali I felt I was in excellent hands and I wasn’t wrong, she made me and my party look beautiful so much so I’m trying to talk my now husband into treating me to the 1-2-1 makeup lesson for Christmas 🤞

Beautiful!
I'm not one who wears makeup a lot of the time so I wasn't really sure what I wanted for my wedding. Sali really made me feel at ease, during the trial and on my wedding day! The trial was great, we went through what I would normally wear when I did wear make up, what sort of colours I wanted and gave me some really good advice (especially about moisturisering, which I have continued to do!). On the wedding day, Sali was great! Really enjoyed the morning getting ready and that shade of lipstick is defo my colour! Still keep most of the touch up pack in my handbag today! Thank you Sali for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day!

Sali is great
What a wonderful person Sali is. She is professional but chatty and made us all feel at ease. She accommodated all our requests including putting some foundation on my Indian husband and working round an eye problem my mum had. We all looked gorgeous afterwards too. She also gave me a little goody bag to keep my makeup and myself looking fabulous all day long. I’d highly recommend her to anyone.

My Wedding hero!
Thanks to the nonsense of the last year, postponing our wedding meant we lost the makeup artist I'd hired. After much frantic Googling I found Sali and was sure she would be fully booked. Thankfully for me she wasn't and she even managed to accommodate a second date change.
The trial was so reassuring and she couldn't have been more helpful with my follow up requests.
On the day her calm vibe was just what I needed, she absolutely nailed everyone's looks and I felt like a million dollars.

I felt a million dollars!
Wasnt really sure what to expect from having a bridal trial but it’s so worth doing. Sali was really great at adapting the look I wanted when we did the trial. We brought the wedding forward due to Covid & we’re lucky that all our suppliers were able to join on new date. Things ran smoothly on the morning of the wedding when applying the make up but it’s really Sali’s years of doing this and helpful advice and tips that make a bride feel calm and not get stressed. She also had interesting ideas for extra shots for the photographer which I can’t wait to see. That first view standing in front of the mirror with dress, hair, make up and bouquet was second to none bridal experience.

Sali is an amazing wedding makeup artist. She is knowledgeable, creative, and oh so talented! What I loved about my experience with Sali is that I felt comfortable from our very first trial session. She took the time to get to know what I liked and we explored what the best options were for me and my personality. On the day itself, Sali was so supportive, making us all laugh and keeping us relaxed so my bridesmaids and I could enjoy getting ready with no stress. Every detail has been thought of, including the little pack of survival bits and pieces to keep you looking your best all day. 100% recommend!

It’s a nice day for a black wedding!
An absolute pleasure and delight! Everything went so well and my make up was a frickin’ dream! Sali made my morning equal parts calm and entertaining! Could not recommend more!
