Hiring Rachel to do my hair and make up for my wedding (+bridesmaids) was one of the best decisions I made!
She was everything I needed on the morning of my wedding - she was calm but also directed the room well so everything ran smoothly. She help me get into my dress so I could do a first look with my bridesmaids.
She kept me calm and distracted when I needed it. Honestly, I don't think I would have been able to enjoyed my wedding morning without her.
And finally, she made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt. Both hair and makeup lasted long into the night. (She did provided a touch up kit of all the essentials which was amazing!!)

Rachel was amazing from the moment I got in contact with her. She was so accommodating and friendly from the get go and she made me feel at ease all the way through from my make up trial to the big day itself! I'm not a big make up wearer and Rachel's skills were exactly what I needed it! She listened to everything that I had to say and took on board my vision and my ideas and brought them to life on the 4th October! Her hair and makeup skills are truly unmatched! Rachel was amazing throughout the whole process! From originally booking she was very responsive in her communications and was very thorough with info when it came to the trial. She did mine and my bridesmaids hair and make up everyone complemented us all day! If you want more natural make up rather than glam, then Rachel is the girl for you! She was just like another friend/family member in the getting ready room in the morning and brought great vibes!

Rachel is a fantastic hair and makeup artist. I hired her to do my mother and 4x bridesmaids hair and make on my wedding day. I was let down by a few make-up artists before finding Rachel because they insisted on having to do my (bride) hair and make up as well as my mother and bridesmaids.
I'm so glad I came across Rachel, she was absolutely fantastic! Her communication before the day was amazing, she made my mother and bridesmaids look absolutely fantastic. She is calm and collected, something that is very much needed on the morning of the wedding. Other than being an amazing hair and makeup artist Rachel is also a moody sister whisperer. She managed to turn my sister's awful mood right around on the day, and for that I'm very grateful.

Rachel’s responsiveness to emails is superb. She listened to what I wanted and the trial was excellent. She understood what changes I wanted without prejudice and advised accordingly. The day of the wedding ran really smoothly and it was like having my best friend doing my makeup l. She kept us all calm and level headed! She helped me into my dress and advised my bridesmaids on the best way to get me in and out of it.

Rachel was amazing from start to finish! I would recommend her to everyone. I was super worried about choosing someone to do my hair and make up but I definitely chose right. Rachel listened to all my worries and I felt so much more at ease after my trial. On the big day, she did hair and make up for me, my mum and all 7 bridesmaids. She was super organised and took away all the stress! She really helped calm my nerves. I was really happy with my final hair and make up - I looked and felt like me, just more bridal which is exactly what I wanted! I can’t thank Rachel enough!

Rachel was wonderful. From the moment I got in touch with her she was super-friendly, listened so well to the brief and delivered exactly what I wanted. I’ve only had my make-up done professionally once before and it can be nerve-wracking when so used to doing your own but after my trial I had the utmost confidence rachel was a pro and new exactly what I wanted. Not only that, but she carried so many different foundation shades and was able to do all of my maids’ make-up beautifully too (as they all have very different skin tones).

Rachel was exceptional and I have nothing but praise for her!

I don't normally do much with my hair or make-up, and I was nervous about finding a hair and make-up artist who would understand that I wanted to look special and elegant on my wedding day, but still like myself. From the outset, Rachel was so friendly and helpful with my questions and concerns. I knew she really got what I was after, even when I didn't know how to put it into words myself! And at every stage of the process, including at my trial, Rachel made sure I was happy and was generally just really lovely to work with.

I couldn't be happier with the hair and make-up that Rachel did on my wedding day. I felt so beautiful, and I'm thrilled with how I look in our photos! The hair and make-up lasted really well - I was honestly so impressed with how polished I was still looking at the end of the night! Rachel (assisted by Zena!) also did hair and make-up for my mum and three bridesmaids, and I know they all looked and felt amazing.

On top of that, Rachel went above and beyond on the wedding morning - giving advice about the flowers, suggesting the best order to get dressed in, affixing my veil and more. She was just such an invaluable presence and I credit her with ensuring the morning went so smoothly.

What can I say! Rachel is a fabulous hair and make up artist. From first point of contact she has been a great communicator, warm and very efficient. The trial is a great opportunity to see what is going to work and what can be tweaked. Rachel was a star - so friendly, communicative and accommodating. We only had access to the prep room from 9am for a 1pm ceremony and she had such a 'can-do' attitude. We had hair and makeup for myself, 3 bridesmaids and MOB & MOG basically in 3ish hours with her 2 colleagues assisting. She managed to give me 'Wednesday Addams' braids with a lot of hair extensions for my thin hair and I had loads of compliments (also stayed in place all day despite 40mph winds!) I do usually wear quite a lot of liquid eyeliner and Rachel managed to give me natural, soft bridal makeup that still made me look like me. It was really helpful to have a touch up kit with lipstick included too. Also - Rachel found THE foundation for me so have stocked up! She is really easy to talk to and knows how to calm you down when things are getting hectic. She and her colleagues made everyone look beautiful. Thank you!

When I met her at the trial, I knew I had made a good decision because she was so patient and listened to me, she even gave me tips and advise for my own make-up and skincare too. Best decision I made for the wedding!

I was undecided on whether I wanted to book my hair and make up as I'm usually a natural no-make up wearer, and was keen to look 'like myself' on my wedding day. When I started speaking to Rachel I realised why so many people trust her on their wedding day - Rachel took several hours to talk me through potential ideas I had during our consultation, going back and forth between lipstick shades and hairstyles as I truly had no clue what I wanted. She made a number of recommendations but never pushed me to a particular style, and helped me find a final look that felt true to who I was, helped me feel confident and beautiful and on top of that lasted for hours on a very hot day and after loads of jumping, dancing, and many many dog kisses. Not only is she very skilled in her craft, but she's also a lovely person and incredibly patient. Truly, if you are unsure about whether or not to book hair and make up, do yourself a favour and book Rachel, you won't regret it.
