What can I say! Rachel is a fabulous hair and make up artist. From first point of contact she has been a great communicator, warm and very efficient. The trial is a great opportunity to see what is going to work and what can be tweaked. I had just had a baby and Rachel made me feel so comfortable and worked with me on my timeline, which I really appreciated. Rachel was a great listener and very adaptable. Rachel was amazing from start to finish! I would recommend her to everyone. I was super worried about choosing someone to do my hair and make up but I definitely chose right. Rachel listened to all my worries and I felt so much more at ease after my trial. On the big day, she did hair and make up for me, my mum and all 7 bridesmaids. She was super organised and took away all the stress! She really helped calm my nerves. I was really happy with my final hair and make up - I looked and felt like me, just more bridal which is exactly what I wanted! I can’t thank Rachel enough!

Rachel was wonderful. From the moment I got in touch with her she was super-friendly, listened so well to the brief and delivered exactly what I wanted. I’ve only had my make-up done professionally once before and it can be nerve-wracking when so used to doing your own but after my trial I had the utmost confidence rachel was a pro and new exactly what I wanted. Not only that, but she carried so many different foundation shades and was able to do all of my maids’ make-up beautifully too (as they all have very different skin tones).

Rachel was exceptional and I have nothing but praise for her!

I don't normally do much with my hair or make-up, and I was nervous about finding a hair and make-up artist who would understand that I wanted to look special and elegant on my wedding day, but still like myself. From the outset, Rachel was so friendly and helpful with my questions and concerns. I knew she really got what I was after, even when I didn't know how to put it into words myself! And at every stage of the process, including at my trial, Rachel made sure I was happy and was generally just really lovely to work with.

I couldn't be happier with the hair and make-up that Rachel did on my wedding day. I felt so beautiful, and I'm thrilled with how I look in our photos! The hair and make-up lasted really well - I was honestly so impressed with how polished I was still looking at the end of the night! Rachel (assisted by Zena!) also did hair and make-up for my mum and three bridesmaids, and I know they all looked and felt amazing.

On top of that, Rachel went above and beyond on the wedding morning - giving advice about the flowers, suggesting the best order to get dressed in, affixing my veil and more. She was just such an invaluable presence and I credit her with ensuring the morning went so smoothly.

I'm so glad I found Rachel, she's the calm you need around you on your wedding morning! She created the perfect look for me and exactly what I had in mind. I had so many compliments on my make up, saying I still looked like me, just enhanced and my eyes looked amazing. Rachel also did 2 of my bridesmaids' hairstyles and my mum's, and they were all beautiful. She was the loveliest person and I would definitely recommend her!

Rachel was a star - so friendly, communicative and accommodating. We only had access to the prep room from 9am for a 1pm ceremony and she had such a 'can-do' attitude. We had hair and makeup for myself, 3 bridesmaids and MOB & MOG basically in 3ish hours with her 2 colleagues assisting. She managed to give me 'Wednesday Addams' braids with a lot of hair extensions for my thin hair and I had loads of compliments (also stayed in place all day despite 40mph winds!) I do usually wear quite a lot of liquid eyeliner and Rachel managed to give me natural, soft bridal makeup that still made me look like me. It was really helpful to have a touch up kit with lipstick included too. Also - Rachel found THE foundation for me so have stocked up! She is really easy to talk to and knows how to calm you down when things are getting hectic. She and her colleagues made everyone look beautiful. Thank you!

Rachel is so friendly, she makes you feel so comfortable and at ease, it’s like hanging out with your friend (all my bridesmaids agreed and it made such a lovely atmosphere whilst getting ready).

I picked Rachel because she uses cruelty-free products for her beautifully created looks for hair and make-up, which were just the style I was looking for. When I met her at the trial, I knew I had made a good decision because she was so patient and listened to me, she even gave me tips and advise for my own make-up and skincare too. The trial flew by with all the chatting.

Communication along the whole process is prompt and easy. Rachel is organised and she makes sure everything is just how you want it, so you know you are in good hands!

The look Rachel created for me was even better than I imagined, and it lasted all day (hair and make-up). I honestly couldn’t have asked for more, she was incredible! Best decision I made for the wedding!

I was undecided on whether I wanted to book my hair and make up as I'm usually a natural no-make up wearer, and was keen to look 'like myself' on my wedding day. When I started speaking to Rachel I realised why so many people trust her on their wedding day - Rachel took several hours to talk me through potential ideas I had during our consultation, going back and forth between lipstick shades and hairstyles as I truly had no clue what I wanted. She made a number of recommendations but never pushed me to a particular style, and helped me find a final look that felt true to who I was, helped me feel confident and beautiful and on top of that lasted for hours on a very hot day and after loads of jumping, dancing, and many many dog kisses. Not only is she very skilled in her craft, but she's also a lovely person and incredibly patient. Truly, if you are unsure about whether or not to book hair and make up, do yourself a favour and book Rachel, you won't regret it.

Her prices are competitive and real value for money considering all the care and attention she puts in her work. She even provides a touch up kit for the wedding, which I thought was a lovely idea!

She used her knowledge and expertise to guide me through what the best options for my make up and hair would be, all the while staying faithful to my style preferences and the colour scheme of the wedding.
She was also lovely to my mum and grandma on the wedding day, advising them on their hairstyle and managing to reassure them even though they don't speak English!

I am a very tomboy bride, I don’t understand make up, it probably was quite low on my priority list.

The thought of booking it was anxiety inducing. But then I stumbled across Rachel. Which thank the lucky stars I did!

From booking to trial, the trial was at her home, which she made me feel at home.
We chatted and got to know each other more and understand my requirements (which mine personally were low, but she has the expertise and experience to truly wow you)

On the day, she was prompt given the very early start. And worked side by side with my hairdresser: she took it in her stride to work collaboratively with people she had never met before. And bounced off others energy. It was really nice to watch.

We had 7… yes 7 bridesmaids to get through! Plus my mum! All in the same room, Rachel was fun and out-going, charismatic yet calming. Everything a very stressed bride with health issues needed.

She stayed after make up was done, and helped capture some magical shots of the dress. She truly cared about being there and you being her number one that day.

I could write a book on how wonderful she is. I cannot recommend Rachel for bridal make up enough.

I found Rachel through Make Me Bridal as I was struggling to find a make up artist and hair stylist for my August wedding. Thankfully, she was free on the date I needed and I couldn't be more thankful! From the first communication which was within a day of my inquiry, all the way through to post-wedding, Rachel has been warm, professional and easy to communicate with for make up and hair for myself and my mother.

Our trial was very relaxing and Rachel listened to everything we asked for, especially considering myself and my mother have very different styles! What I thought I wanted for my hair and what I ended up with were very different, and Rachel handled my indecision with ease. I went from an up style to a half up/half down on the day with some additional minor adjustments on the day. My make up was flawless and I received so many compliments about it both after the trial and on my wedding day. I was keen to look like me but have make up to look a bit more glamorous, and she achieved this so well. I loved both aspects and really felt extra special.

Rachel is such a friendly person, easy to talk to and incredibly knowledgeable. We got some extra make up tips and recommendations, and loads of beautiful pictures from the wedding day. I am not sure when I would need a MUA and hair stylist again but I know that when I do, Rachel will be my first call. I am so glad our dates matched up! I felt completely blessed to have Rachel help myself, my four bridesmaids, mum and flower girl get ready for my July wedding. From the enquiry stages, Rachel was professional and responsive and she ensured that she knew what I was hoping to achieve with my wedding look. I loved Rachel’s looks because of how natural her brides looked in their pictures and this was something that was important to me! I felt a bit clueless at times because make-up or hairstyles aren’t a part of my daily routine but Rachel was so patient and helpful guiding me in the right direction and I was so grateful for this because on the day I felt like an actual princess! I really can’t speak more highly of Rachael she was so helpful and professional. My day really wouldn’t have been the same with out her. She just has such a real and calming personality she was so reassuring and went above and beyond with helping me with everything not just my hair and makeup and tips to help me through the day.
