One of my best friends had a pretty awful rare cancer diagnosis in September. As a result the stunning wedding she'd planned next year had to be brought forward very quickly and looked very different from the original plan. We had 10 days to plan the event but despite this madness it was absolutely mission critical that our bride felt special and beautiful and that the day was a celebration of love and hope and not a sad one. I wanted to find the best for my chum and having reviewed reviews like this for Anna I reached out thinking there's no way she'd be able to accept a gig that by this point was a week away. As the universe would have it Anna happened to be available that day and from the get go approached our unusual and sensitive situation with huge compassion and professionalism. We were invited to submit ideas and what we liked / disliked etc via whatsapp ahead of the day. On the day itself it was just me, the bride and Anna in the room getting ready. Anna seamlessly became part of team Bride and made that 'getting ready' bit every bit as fun and special as it would be under any normal circumstance. My friend had moaned at me about 'making a fuss' saying she didn't need hair and make up done when it was all so different and so much smaller than the original plan but afterwards she was so thankful we'd got Anna on board - she felt a million dollars on her special day - regardless of her health and the arduous journey ahead. If you're a bride wanting to book the very best at what she does who is also a very lovely human - we couldn't recommend Anna more highly. xx -

She did my hair and make up for my wedding reception and I couldn't have felt more confident. For someone that doesn't wear a lot of make up, I was worried I would feel cakey having had my make up professionally done. However, it felt light and natural but still had the wow factor. After a trial session, she nailed the brief and delivered exactly what I envisaged for the day. Anna's skillset, knowledge and warmth made me feel totally relaxed in her capable hands. Couldn't thank her enough x -

Anna is simply the most talented HMU artist I've ever worked with, and her calming positive presence was exactly what I needed when getting ready for my wedding day. Anna was so communicative in the lead up, she provides so much inspiration in the months before and fantastic advice on the prep ahead of the big day too with skin and haircare tips. My trial was such a good experience too, I felt like feedback and making my look exactly as I imagined was her priority and I loved getting it right together. And, my look on the day was even BETTER than the trial and how I imagined. I cannot recommend Anna highly enough! -

I booked Anna for my wedding for both hair and makeup after seeing her on Hitched and Rock My Wedding. After an initial video call I was immediately put at ease by her friendliness and professionalism and I am really glad I booked with her. At my trial she took so much care to make sure I was happy and was flexible with trying different hairstyles when I was very indecisive! On the day itself she made sure every detail was exactly as I wanted, staying to do final touch ups until right before I walked down the aisle and was a very calming presence for the morning. I felt amazing all day thanks to her skill and attentiveness. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to others, she really is an expert at what she does and is such a joy to work with. I would highly recommend Anna. For my wedding in July Anna did the hair and makeup for myself, my mum and three bridesmaids. Anna is not only very talented in what she creates, but she is very easy to get along with, making me feel very relaxed every step of the way. Not once did I feel awkward, it was the best experience and I honestly haven’t felt more beautiful. So whether you’re someone who like myself wanted a very natural look true to me hair and makeup or prefers to wear a bit more/go all out, you are in great hands with Anna! -

Absolutely amazing hair and makeup artist, so happy I found Anna and used her for my day!
She made myself and my mum feel so at ease when we went for our trial, and we had such a lovely time with her. The hair and makeup was beautiful at the trial and lasted all day.
On the wedding day both myself and my mum requested a few tweaks which were done perfectly, and I couldn’t have been happier with how the hair and makeup turned out. I felt so beautiful and got so many lovely compliments from our guests!
My husband prefers me without makeup or with minimal makeup but even he said Anna absolutely smashed it and that I looked perfect.
Anna took the time to listen to what we wanted, had amazing attention to detail and also provided lots of really helpful suggestions re hair care and skincare.
The two assistants Anna provided were also fab and made my bridesmaids even more beautiful than they already are!

You certainly won't regret booking Anna
Anna is a fabulous bridal hair and makeup artist! I am so glad I picked her for my special day. I was a little bit stuck with which kind of makeup I was after. At my trial she took her time, speaking to me step by step, to make sure I was happy with what she was doing. I have sensitive skin and she took her time and was very gentle.
I was so happy with my hair. It was perfect. It was exactly what I was after. My hair is extremely long and heavy and she still managed to make it look amazing.
On my wedding day she went above and beyond helping me. She gave me lots of advice and was a massive help, even calming me down when things got stressful. I felt like Anna was a friend, and my bridesmaids felt comfortable around her, too. She helped me in so many ways and I was very grateful I chose to book her. I can tell Anna is very passionate about her work, and if you do book with Anna, you certainly won't regret it. She was fantastic. -

Anna's a gem!
There are decidedly not enough words to describe how wonderful my experience has been with Anna as the MUA for my wedding. Besides the fact that she is just the loveliest person, she is extremely professional and made the whole experience so much fun! From the skin care tips, to researching the best lipstick to use for the day, Anna constantly went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the whole experience was flawless. On the day she took amazing care of my mom and me, and I honestly never felt so beautiful in my life! The makeup was so light, I could barely feel it and apart from my lipstick I did not have to retouch anything at all. She did such an amazing job that I genuinely did not want to take my make-up off at the end of the night! It has been a joy and a real privilege to know Anna and work with her. I will be referring her to everyone I know because she is amazing and deserves all the success in the world! -
