Dream makeup artist!

I booked Gemma for my wedding make up for myself and 7 others in my bridal party. Gemma advised on the best start/finish times to suit our ceremony time and arrived on time on the day.

She was great with all the girls, helpful with colours and things that would suit their skin tones. We had worked out what my make up would be like earlier at a trial and barely made any changes to it on the day.

Gemma was professional and such a calming presence on the wedding morning, I am so thankful for her experience and attention to detail, all of my bridal party looked and felt beautiful. My make up was...

I booked Gemma for my wedding make up for myself and 7 others in my bridal party. Gemma advised on the best start/finish times to suit our ceremony time and arrived on time on the day.

She was great with all the girls, helpful with colours and things that would suit their skin tones. We had worked out what my make up would be like earlier at a trial and barely made any changes to it on the day.

Gemma was professional and such a calming presence on the wedding morning, I am so thankful for her experience and attention to detail, all of my bridal party looked and felt beautiful. My make up was perfect and lasted all day - I didn’t want to take it off!! I would absolutely encourage other brides to book with Gemma.

Gemma’s magic helped to make my wedding day perfect!

I cannot recommend Gemma enough for bridal makeup and hair. From start to finish, the experience was incredibly calm and stress-free. Her expertise truly stood out as she managed to flawlessly cover my dry skin and psoriasis redness, leaving me feeling radiant and confident. I felt like a princess all day, with makeup that lasted beautifully and hair that was weightless, comfortable, and exactly how I wanted it.

She was wonderful at making me feel at ease throughout the process, listening to my preferences and making adjustments whenever I asked. Her knowledge of products was great —she knew exactly what would work best for my skin type and gave me the perfect look.

We all looked beautiful!

Gemma provided makeup services to myself and 2 of my bridesmaids on my wedding day on 22nd February 2025. Prior to the wedding, I had a bridal makeup trial and found Gemma to be absolutely lovely and fantastic at interpreting my vision of how I wanted to look. She knocked it out of the park on the first try. As someone with sensitive and reactive skin, she was careful to use high quality products that would not cause issues, and advised me on various aspects of skincare before the wedding. Dreamy Make-Up!

Gemma was awesome: from the moment we met for the trial, she put me totally at ease. We tried a couple of different things during the trial and then on reflection I wanted something a bit different on the day - it was no problem at all and I felt fantastic. I’d never had make up done professionally before but I’d choose Gemma again 💖 My bridesmaid and mum were all super pleased with their make up too & we picked up some tips along the way! The trial at her beautiful home studio was a lovely experience, we talked through skin care prep and make up ideas for my special day. I left feeling confident that Gemma would be the perfect choice!
On the morning of my wedding, Gemma was both professional and such a lovely person in making my wedding party feel at ease and looking beautiful!
It felt like having another friend there on my special day getting involved in the excitement of the morning!
You can tell that Gemma has a passion for her craft and I wish I was getting married all over again to have the experience a second time! (although don't tell my husband that!)

From the moment they arrived, their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were evident. She truly made us all feel like the best versions of ourselves, and the makeup held up beautifully, even through happy tears, many cheek kisses from family and hours of dancing.

Both Kelly and Gemma were a joy to have around on the morning of the wedding. They kept everything running smoothly and on time, contributing to a calm and enjoyable atmosphere fuelled by Yorkshire Tea and pastries. It was like having two extra friends in the room!

The best makeup & Hair

Just wow i can’t recommend Gemma-Marie enough.
From my first enquiry right through to my wedding I knew I had made the right choice to have Gemma help turn me into a bride.

Every email was answered quickly, even when I was having bride panic’s Gemma managed to calm me down.
At my trial Gemma listened to what look I wanted and I was amazed but on my wedding day she blew me away it was a 1000 times better than my trial and I was speechless with how I looked.

Gemma is absolutely fantastic at what she does! Me and my girls felt absolutely beautiful after she did our bridal makeup! She is very attentive and the whole experience using her as a makeup artist was wonderful, cannot fault her at all!

Wedding makeup review

Gemma is absolutely outstanding at her job. As someone who generally doesn't wear a lot of makeup, I was nervous about what I'd be getting, but Gemma listened and knew exactly what to do and made me feel so comfortable, and we got the perfect look for me. Both myself, and my bridesmaids had so many compliments all day. And we had such a good time getting ready in the morning. I would definitely recommend Gemma to anyone, she is so lovely, puts you at ease and is so professional. I had the most perfect day, and I'm so glad Gemma was a part of it.
