Where do I start... Incredible? Exceptional? There isn't a word that offers the recognition that Joanna deserves. She was the first and only choice for my make-up artist for my most special occasion x
Joanna absolutely understands bridal make-up and weddings. Not only an incredibly talented artist who made us look and feel phenomenal, but on that magical (and fun-but-chaos!) morning, Joanna became part of our family x
She was completely in her element. Making sure everything was perfect not just at the time, but that it would still be perfect 14 hours later too! Even providing each of us touch-up lippy for later! Absolutely amazing.
Joanna's kindness and support didn't stop at our gorgeous make-up either... from helping us with tricky jewellery, working with fidgeting flower girls, tying beautiful dress bows on bridesmaids and carrying flowers to being a calm and reassuring presence when arrangements elsewhere weren't quite going to plan! 😉😆
As I am sure all brides would agree, bridal preparation time is full of so many emotions and being surrounded by your most trusted people is everything. For every reason, Joanna is the perfect choice x

100000% recommend. Joanna did my make up and my three bridesmaids this weekend. She has the most warm charming nature, and is professional to the highest level. She gave us the freedom to express what we like, but offered advice on what would suit best.

Where do we start,
Thank you for making us feel so incredibly beautiful we looked and felt absolutely the bestest versions of ourselves. Your professional skills shone through especially when Rebecca decided to change her make up palette last minute. Our mums and bridesmaids all said you made them look and feel the best they have ever looked. You were such a calming, wonderful presence and went over and above to make us all feel like absolute god damn queens whilst in your chair. We highly recommend you and can’t thank you enough.

I cannot thank Joanna enough for everything she did for me and my girls on my wedding day! I’ve never felt so good about myself, my make up was absolutely flawless from start to finish. Not only that but she was also such a calming influence and made me feel so at ease and is the biggest hype girl! She is the perfect combination of professional but personable. I am so unbelievably grateful for the amazing service she provided. She helped me get into my dress and shoes and even applied my perfume for me! Joanna played a pivotal part in what made my wedding day so special, would 100% recommend! -

I chose Joanna as my make up artist for my recent wedding. Joanna had previously done my make up at a friend’s wedding and I was blown away. Joanna instantly makes you feel calm and relaxed. She listens and understands your vision and is always willing to offer guidance. Joanna drove quite a way for my wedding and myself and my bridesmaids are so grateful that she did as we all felt and looked wonderful! She also made my mum feel at ease as she is not someone who wears lots of make up but Joanna’s experience shone through as mum looked and felt beautiful. I cannot thank Joanna enough for all that she did. She even stayed right up to when I was about to walk up the aisle ready to offer a helping hand! I cannot recommend Joanna enough, she kept me informed and offered great advice on timings and make-up options. She was available whenever I had questions and was so approachable.
On the morning of the wedding I was put at ease and made to feel like the most special person. I was so happy with my make-up which lasted all day and evening. I felt like a princess.Joanna Plimmer Makeup Artist's reply:

Joanna is truly an amazing make up artist but also just an amazing woman! She gave me continual support from the first message I sent her to the day itself and has kept in touch afterwards. She made myself, five bridesmaids, MOB & MOG all look stunning in their own way in the tight time scale she had to work with all whilst being the positive upbeat lady she is. I can’t thank Jo enough for being my hype woman during my wedding morning and making me feel a million dollars. Joanna was amazing from start to finish. Always made us feel relaxed and beautiful! So lovely to be around, the type of person you’d want on your wedding day. Throughout the makeup, Joanna would make sure we were happy and was able to change anything to meet exactly what we were looking for. After seeing my trial, my mum decided she couldn’t not have Joanna on the day too, Joanna was so flexible and worked amazingly with all skin types! My mum and bridesmaids loved their makeup.
