Gemma and her team were amazing, their calming aura, their banter, their approach to the morning was just what our wedding preparation needed.

I hired the Just About Wedding team for my hair and makeup for my wedding day. I spoke mainly with Gemma for all of the organisation and she was very communicative and made me feel at ease. She was very knowledgeable about the different options and styles I could have and helped me understand what would suit me - I'm clueless with makeup and hair so I needed help. I was really impressed with the outcome for both my trial and my wedding day, she took my inspiration pictures and brought them to life. Jade in her team did an incredible job with the makeup too, I got so many compliments during the day and I felt amazing. -

The team were booked to do hair and makeup for all my bridesmaids (6 in total). I had a clear and planned out schedule and then on the morning of the wedding a storm hit and what should have been a 30 minute journey to the venue was set to be 2 hours And we had to leave 1 hr and 30 mins earlier than planned. I gathered all the bridesmaids plus our two stylists and told them the news, without hesitation our stylists SOMEHOW completed all 6 bridesmaids to exceptional quality in time and they all looked stunning. Beyond that, the whole team including Gemma who runs the business, were extremely attentive, adaptable and I don't think we could have asked for better. -

Wedding hair - couldn’t recommend enough!
Gemma did my hair for my wedding day and that of my bridesmaids, mum and mother in law too. We were all thrilled with it and were so impressed with how personalised she made it to each of us, despite having a lot of us to get through! Making us all feel like princesses for the day, with hair that lasted all day and all night long. She made us feel incredibly relaxed whilst we got ready too and I couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you so much Gemma! -

Gemma and Leah were amazing from the start! The service we received was incredible, Gemma really took the time to get to know me and find out what I did/didn’t like. The team were really flexible and also were extremely accommodating when I changed my mind on hair and make up only a month before the wedding, Gemma came back for another trial at short notice. Hair and make up was absolutely stunning! Thank you for making me into a bride! Gemma and Leah also done mother of the bride and bridesmaid and were fantastic in making recommendations and we were all extremely happy! Would 100% recommend and book again! Thank you! They were also amazing at putting us at ease on a very emotional morning! We love Gemma and Leah! -

My hair was styled very beautifully by the team for a wedding. Due to unforeseen circumstances relating to the weather, there was less time than originally planned and the girls did a brilliant job getting all of us bridesmaids ready quickly and very professionally. Thank you -

Gemma was incredible! She did hair for myself, my mum, and my four bridesmaids and we were all in love with the results! Not only was our hair fantastic, but she’s so easy to chat to and laugh with (and was loving the wedding morning playlist with us) which really helped the whole morning feel relaxed. I would absolutely recommend her! -

Gemma and Leah
I used Gemma and Leah for my makeup and hair service for my wedding on 15th August 2024. They were both friendly, chatty, easy to speak to and definitely helped with the wedding morning jitters. Gemma made sure to make me comfortable at the trial as well. I would recommend using Just About Hair and Makeup for your wedding too. For the first time in 25 years I truly felt like a princess so thank you Gemma and Leah again for everything you did for me and my bridal party. -

We hired JAW hair & Beauty for our 2 day wedding earlier this month.
On Friday, only I (the bride 🙂) needed hair & makeup. Communication before the day was slow, but Gemma did a PERFECT job. On Saturday, I also had 7 bridesmaids and 1 MOB. Unfortunately, Gemma's colleague Leah was off-sick & things got stressful. We did get everyone done on time for the ceremony but it wasn't a pleasant experience. All along, it wasn't made clear why only Gemma was there despite asking the question where the assistant was. Transparency would've made this all a lot easier to manage.
