  Delighted by my wedding hair/makeup

  I loved the hair and makeup Ruby did for my wedding day, which looked natural (as I requested) and lasted all day. After the trial, I changed my mind about some of my hair/makeup requests, and Ruby took this on board and made tweaks so it was exactly as I wanted on the big day. I recommend her highly as a professional and skilful hair and makeup artist!

  A safe pair of hands :)

  Ruby was so great! I’m not someone who wears a lot of makeup so it was really worth doing a makeup trial with her to work out which bridal look I felt the most comfortable with on the day.
  
  I also have acne skin and was a bit worried about that but the coverage was incredible. It lasted the whole day and felt quite lightweight as well.
  
  She was great at communicating when booking her and sorting out my bridesmaids’ makeup. I’d recommend her for sure!

  Made me feel and looked lovely on my big day!

  I originally booked Ruby last year when our wedding was booked in Croydon. However, due to a family emergency, it was postponed. Ruby was very accommodating and understanding of all the changes. We changed venue to Milton Keynes and Ruby was very kind to still do my hair and make up despite the distance (I was happy to pay extra for her travel fees). She arrived on time and started hair and make up early leaving us with plenty of time for photo ops. My hair and make up turned out really well that I received so much compliments from our friends and families. I highly recommend Ruby!

  My skin looks healthy and dewy and it lasts whole day

  I booked Ruby for my wedding, I was a bit worried in the beginning as I wouldn’t like very transformative makeup instead I would Iike my skin looks good and healthy. Ruby is really responsive and set me at ease. On the day we went through the adjustments I’d like to make from the trial and Ruby did the really good job I’m really happy with hair and makeup- Top of that the hair and makeup lasted the whole day! Thanks Ruby I’ll recommend her!

  Disastrous and a waste of money. Could not recommend, very unprofessional.

  Very disappointing! After paying for a trial Ruby let me down at the last minute. First asking me to change my time slot to three hours earlier, to accommodate her next client. Then, two days later telling me that she was unwell. I was told that this was not true, she was not sick. The trial was a complete waste of money.

  I’m truly sorry for having to cancel our appointment last week. I understand this caused inconvenience and I sincerely apologize.
  
  After feeling unwell and visited GP, I immediately informed you of the situation. I wasn’t sure if I’ll recover throughout the weekend and to ensure the appointment goes smoothly, I had another experienced makeup artist to cover for me. I explained the trial look with her so you’ll be in good hands.
  
  I’m shocked if someone told you I wasn’t sick as I was genuinely ill and unable to work until Thursday.
  
  Again I’m sorry about what happened and understood your frustration. If you still get any questions please send me a message/email, I’m happy to issue partial refund for the trial.

  Efficient, thoughtful and fun!

  I came to Ruby with a slightly unusual request - I was officiating a friend's wedding, and so was hoping for a look that would feel fabulous, but not too showy! Ruby was very thoughtful and efficient in coming up with a plan for that, and I'm really grateful to her for the easy, fun process.

  Great hair and makeup artist with a lovely relaxed vibe

  I'd highly recommend Ruby! We hired her to do hair and makeup for both myself and my maid of honour for our November wedding, and from the start she was highly responsive and helpful. I had a few ideas I wanted to try out at the trial appointment and she was great at chatting through options and helping me make decisions. On the day itself she turned up right on time and was such a calming presence throughout the morning. Most importantly, our hair and makeup turned out exactly how we asked and stayed in place the whole day (despite the rain!). Thanks Ruby!

  A true artist

  We (being my bridesmaids and I) became big fans of Ruby. She was exceptionally sweet throughout the morning (we started very early) and never lost her spark.
  
  We had sent through our inspiration pictures beforehand and she was fully prepared for the tasks at hand, giving gentle feedback as necessary (for example, my hairstyle was shown on a mannequin, with very different hair texture). I was so happy with my final hairstyle, I felt truly glamourous.
  
  Our makeup stayed on pretty much perfectly throughout the whole day, even with tears of joy, we just needed the odd lipstick touchup. Haven't received my professional photos yet, but other candid photographs showed the makeup and hair looking fantastic.
  
  I would highly recommend Ruby and felt so lucky to have her on the day. She truly has the gift to make us glow and shine like a diamond.
