Shair did my hair and make up for when I was bridesmaid for my bestie’s wedding. She was so professional, calm and talented. She listened carefully to my make up likes and dislikes and created a beautifully natural look which stayed put for the whole day and night. She effortlessly styled my hair exactly according to the pictures I showed her. As if that wasn’t enough she then created three other master pieces for the other bridesmaids and the bride - all with different skin tones and looks - she is a huge talent and I would highly recommend her!

Shair was extremely helpful in helping me set up hair and makeup services for my mother, and bridesmaids. We were all so happy with how everyone's hair and makeup turned out. I knew my mom and bridesmaids were in good hands, she and her team took the time to understand the look each person wanted and really took care in how each person felt with their glam! Shair was quick to respond to my initial message and we soon worked out what I wanted and needed for my wedding - two very different looks. The makeup van is a wonderful setup as it takes away the need to clear a separate space for all her equipment in my home, which got rather busy due to wedding prep. For a morning church wedding ceremony, Shair gave me a classic, elegant updo with matching makeup that enhanced, rather than changed my face (I once had makeup done where my phone didn’t recognise my face - thankfully my phone still recognised me after Shair did my makeup!).
My husband is Indian (but I am not) and for the dinner reception I wanted to wear a traditional Indian lehenga. Despite under an hour to change, Shair updated the makeup to a bolder look to go with the red lehenga, redid my hair and pinned the lehenga. My in-laws were all very admiring of Shair’s makeup and lehenga pinning, as well as the last-minute hair accessory that she repurposed from a pair of elaborate earrings!
I would definitely recommend Shair as a hair and makeup artist. She was welcoming and the consummate professional. Her work made me look and feel like myself but elevated, which I imagine every bride wants to feel on her wedding day.

Sahir was without a doubt the best decision I made for my wedding day! She took the brief and delivered beyond my expectations. I have never felt so comfortable in my skin and was complimented by all my guests on how the makeup held up thorough a very very long day. I have other makeup artists work on my eyes and I always feel like colour never suits me but Sahir made my eyes look amazing. Also my eye makeup is usually the worst as my eyes tend to water and eyelids get very sweaty however whatever magic Sahir did the makeup did not budge. I was insistent on a bright red lip but advice from Sahir achieved a better shade for my skin tone which I’m so grateful for.
I must add Sahir was not just a makeup artist, she was the confidence boost, the pep talk, the reassurance and comfort I needed on my big day. No one would have ever had said she wasn’t a very close friend. She managed my anxieties and emotions like a complete professional.

Great make up and hair artist. Made me relax on the day and I looked beautiful. She does send tips before the wedding. I would not have anyone else but her.

Well where to start. We decided to get married within a very short time frame and needed to fine someone to do the make up and hair of my wife to be (who’s now my wife). We got a quote from a word of mouth recommendation and was gonna book her but upon researching her Instagram I weren’t too sure if that person could do the job to the overall satisfaction so I researched on internet and found the make up box. I spoke to them and from day one I was given a lot of confidence and their before and after pictures were what we were looking for so I decided to book. The quoted price was more than I was quoted by other make up artist but I was confident I will get the result I paid for.

On the day of our wedding the make up box was at my brides place on time even though the bride as expected was late but they waited and even though they were under pressure the bride was ready on time and she looked amazing. They came back in the evening to get the bride ready for the wedding reception and yet again the result was amazing.

They asked me how comes I trusted them and paid everything upfront. My answer was they made me feel comfortable on the phone and I don’t know exactly how to explain and knew they will give me what I wanted.

They made the bride feel so comfortable and relaxed in their studio and it’s completely different going away from the wedding house in a perfectly welcoming studio away from the madhouse ( wedding house ) overall I can’t thank them enough for making my bride feel so relaxed and taking away the stress.
