Services offered

Her makeup services include a consultation to determine what makeup look you want. After your consultation, she will provide in a trial run where you can see how your makeup will look before your wedding day and adjust it accordingly to fit exactly what you want on your big day.

There are various bride and bridal party packages available for other members of your party in your beauty session. The packages are the wedding makeup only, bridal makeup & hair, bridal hair only, bridesmaids makeup & hair, and makeovers.

The Make Up Girl is a professional expert in beauty and will use her experience, skill and amazing customer service to design looks that will stand out in photos and stay fresh throughout the entire day and make sure the future newlywed is completely satisfied.

The Make up Girl is absolutely fantastic. I was amazed at the results & felt incredible on my big day. It really was worth every penny. Shahnaz is amazing at what she does! Shahnaz was fantastic. I had her for 2 days to do my civil and Indian wedding hair and makeup, plus the same for 6 bridesmaids and my mum. We had tight timings and a lot of people to get through but she was brilliant at keeping us all calm and on time. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup and she was incredibly flexible when we had to change my hair for the Indian ceremony on the day. I would highly recommend The Makeup Girl.

I never knew weddings could be so nerve wracking. I found Shahnaz only a month before the wedding and since I saw her working I knew I could trust her. On the wedding day I started to feel a bit nervous but once Shahnaz started working on me, I felt relaxed and not rushed at all. She and her amazing team got my 6 bridesmaids, my mum and me wedding ready. I would recommend her to every bride!

I was so excited when Shahnaz told me she was available for my wedding date, and I was right to be excited. My make up and my mum's was flawless. Shahnaz is lovely and very professional. She knew exactly what style I wanted to go for and made it happen. Everyone commented on how amazing my makeup was.

Shahnaz did my hair and makeup and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding in June 2015. She was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable from our planning meetings and trials through to the day itself. She really helped me to come up with a stunning wedding look that really suited me. Everyone commented how amazing my hair and makeup were. All of my bridesmaids looked wonderful too and enjoyed meeting Shahnaz. I highly recommend this service, you won't be disappointed!

She coped amazingly in a very difficult situation with one of my bridesmaids flying in the morning of the wedding. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Make-Up Girl. I loved the hair and make-up for myself and bridesmaids.

The woman with the magic wand! Or brush should I say. I used Shahnaz and her assistant for my wedding in September this year, there were 8 of us including mum and my 6 bridesmaids and we were all really happy with the way it was all planned out, everyone was given a schedule prior to the day of my wedding so there was no confusion around timings.

The makeup and hair was absolutely amazing and everyone commented on how we all looked fresh and flawless all day and night. My hairstyle stayed in even with all the dancing -which I must admit I was a little concerned about, as my hair never behaves.
My skin was glowing all day (brilliant coverage) and I was very happy with my decision to use The Make-up Girl and Shahnaz in particular instead of going for a cheaper option!

Thank you so much for all your hard work and for helping us all stay calm and relaxed during the preparations.

Finding a hair and make up artist for your wedding is a difficult thing. I had met Shahnaz before when I was a bridesmaid and she did my hair and her assistant did my make up. I was very pleased with the results, so I decided to use her for my own wedding.

I was very very happy with my make up on the day and it stayed on wonderfully. My hair was exactly as I had wanted and many of our wedding guests commented on how lovely it looked.

Thank you shahnaz for making me look beautiful on my wedding day!

Shahnaz was extremely professional and flexible. We arranged a trial where I had a full consultation of what ideas I had and wanted for my big day. There was a very relaxed atmosphere aswell as feeling a little pampered! After explaining the products Shahnaz applied my make-up which was flawless, natural and very soft on the skin. I wanted a simple, natural looking up do for my hair which was created with lots of curls pinned up. It was great to feel my hair securely pinned up but also looking natural and flowing. When it came to my big day Shahnaz was punctual and prepared as I knew she would be! I had every confidence in Shahnaz preparing me for my big day and brought a calmness into the room, which was needed on what could become a stressful day! All members of my bridal party were thoroughly pleased with their hair and make-up transformation and felt their needs were understood and fulfilled.
Many people commented on how flawless my hair and makeup was on the day and I would not hesitate to recommend such a fantastic service.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! You and your assistant really helped make my wedding day preparations special, it was calm and relaxed and we enjoyed being pampered and made to look spectacular.

Our hair and makeup was beautifully applied and it stayed in place all day and night. The hair was pinned in so well that it stayed put until the next day!

Initially before booking Shahnaz I shortlisted a few artists but when I met her I decided I would go with Shahnaz because she's experienced, professional and confident, if you don't mind paying a little more for the safety of knowing you're in good hands and the hands of a true pro then definitely book Shahnaz .
