Makeup By Aimee is a service based out of Great Barr, West Midlands, in west-central England. Owner Aimee has been a mobile makeup artist creating breathtaking wedding looks for over 18 years. This dedicated artist has worked with over 1000 couples on their special days and is confident in her abilities to make her clients feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. Aimee possesses many qualifications including an NVQ Level 2 in cosmetic makeup and beauty consultancy; a diploma in airbrush makeup; and a makeup artist masterclass diploma from the London Academy of Media, Film and TV.

Services Offered

Makeup By Aimee offers a range of beauty services to help you feel and look your best on your special day. An initial consultation with Aimee will allow you to discuss your visions and ideas for the event and can be followed up by a makeup trial. This artist uses trusted brands such as MAC, Clinique, Inglot, Laura Mercier, YSL, Estée Lauder and Dior. Aimee can travel to your wedding venue to provide you with a stunning and elegant makeup look on your big day.

What is included in the wedding package?

I will come to wherever your getting ready on the morning of your wedding and recreate the look we did at your trial. I can makeup anyone in your bridal party or even your guests

How far in advance should I contact you?

You can contact me whenever your ready to look into makeup artists. The sooner you book then your date is secure as we do get booked up quite far in advance

Do you work at homes?

Yes

What is the charge for travelling?

40p per mile after 20 miles

What is your main business area?

Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?

Yes

How many people can you beautify for one wedding?

As many as you need if time allows. I’ve done a few weddings of 8 people ?

Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?

Incredible MUA!

Aimee was fantastic throughout the whole planning process and helped me feel magical on my wedding day! As someone that doesn't wear make up often, Aimee helped me feel beautiful, yet natural over the entire weekend. We had our ceremony and reception split across the weekend and Aimee was very accommodating. She listened to everything that I wanted and helped create an amazing look that lasted perfectly across both very hot, very sweaty days. Thank you, Aimee, I cannot recommend highly enough!

A brilliant makeup artist-so glad I booked

I am so glad I booked Aimee to do mine and my bridal party's makeup. I wanted a very fresh, natural look with a smoky, silvery eye and she gave me exactly what I wanted. She worked with my bridal party to give each girl a look that suited them, and was super helpful and friendly throughout.

You made me feel so good

Make up by Aimee did both the trial and the wedding day make up for me and my wedding party. She made us feel so special, and I have to say I felt so pretty for my special day. The make up was of high quality and stayed on all day. I'd definitely recommend Make up by Aimee for any special occasion.

Never knew I could look so good!

A big big thank you Aimee! I found you on the internet and I am so glad that I did! I wanted my usual colours and shades and you let me have exactly what I wanted. Not only did you put my mind at rest you actually convinced me that I could be a little more daring so for the first time ever I wore lipstick. This created a very modern look and I felt like something out of vogue when I saw the finished me.
My day turned out to be fabulous and you were part of it so thanks again.
Anyone looking for a modern makeover give this lady a ring! well recomended.

Amazing make-over, thank you!

Aimee did a make-over for me for my 21st birthday and a make-up party for me and my friends. She was fabulous, friendly and very professional. We now all feel much more confident about applying our own make-up.

Aimee made me feel really special...

Aimee did my makeup for my wedding. She was so punctual, friendly and professional but helped me relax and enjoy having my make up applied. I loved the colours that she chose as they complimented my dress perfectly. The make up lasted all day long and it was great that I did not have to re-apply for the evening function. Aimee also did my mothers make up and she was really pleased. I would definately recommend her for weddings and special occassions.

The make up was so impressive that I have used Aimee for two special occasions

As I don''t usually wear make up I thought I would treat myself for my 30th birthday and have my make up done professionally. Straight from the start Aimee made me feel at ease, talking through each of the steps as she completed them, and asking me how I felt about the colours used. I felt so special on my birthday, and was so impressed with the look, that I recruited Aimee again for when I was a bridesmaid a few months later.

Fantastic experience, made my day really special

Aimee was there nice and early to do mine and my mums make-up on my wedding day last September. I wanted something really neutral and it was exactly what I wanted. I couldn''t believe how good it still looked at 11pm that night! My Mum looked fantastic aswell, a real treat to have our make-up done and let someone-else take the worry away for us. Thank you so much Aimee.

Bridal makeup

Dear Aimee, I wanted to thank you properly for doing my wedding make up so beautifully, as well as that of my bridesmaids and Mum. We all felt really pampered, relaxed and special. My make up remained perfect through the day and it was so nice not to have to worry about it.
I will certainly recommend you when the opportunity arises.
