I came with my best friend for the VIP appointment. After many reschedules due to lockdown we were both looking forward to a day out and feeling pretty. But honestly I did not think I would find a dress as it was my first time shopping. The dresses were amazing and unique! Every person I encountered there was amazing! I found my dress and cannot wait to wear it on my wedding! 10/10 would recommend.

AVOID

The stylists told me 6-8 month delivery for the dress I ordered. When i called at the 8 months mark i was informed the contract you sign says they don't need to recieve it until 4-6 weeks before your wedding date. Yes WEEKS. And be aware, once they have your money they will throw this contract in your face despite assuring you of 6-8 month delivery from purchase. Once the dress arrived, they tried to give me one that was flawed, frayed and had FAKE TAN MARKS ON IT. The dress in that state passed their "inspection" however both stylist and manager had fake tan on their hands so that seems an obvious source of the marks. Had I signed for it without doing my own inspection, it would have made me entirely responsible for the flawed dress as per their contract. All their sample gowns are full of fake tan, pen marks and other mysterious grimey stains. Red flag- they don't take care of their stock, what makes you think they'd take care of yours. Apparently a new dress was ordered and they couldn't give an explanation as to the marks (funnily enough). Aimee bridal conveniently couldn't provide evidence of this communication with the designer either. Everyone I've told of the situation thinks they have deliberately tried to decieve me and tried to give me a sample gown or have let people try on my gown. Either way, the service has been very poor and the CEO Lynsey in particular has an abhorrent attitude, completely apathetic. They ruined my experience of buying my wedding dress. Please avoid and always inspect your dress before taking it home.

I had the most amazing time at Aimee Bridal Couture- I really can't thank them enough. It was such a lovely experience, that I really wish I could do it all over again! Being the first shop I'd visited in my search for my wedding dress, I was a bit nervous and didn't really know what to expect. However, Francesca was my stylist, and as soon as I met her, I knew it was going to be such a lovely and special day. She was so kind and bubbly, and helped me feel beautiful in the dresses that I tried, knowing exactly when I'd found the one! She also suggested some accessories to add to the dresses so I could see the full look and gave me a big cuddle when I picked my dress. Every single one of the girls were so lovely and all came to say congratulations afterwards. They have such a beautiful bar and made us all drinks to celebrate. Every wee detail was thought of, to make it such a special experience, and I was even given a wee memento of my day- a beautiful wee vase full of dried flowers which is now sitting on my mantlepiece. It was such a lovely kind gesture and every time I look at it, I can smile and remember the special and lovely day I had at Aimee Bridal Couture. Thank you for all that you do, from the bottom of my heart.
