We are a design studio based in Altrincham, Manchester. Passionate about creating beautiful bespoke garments that will fit perfectly and be cherished for years. Whether you are the bride to be, bridesmaid or looking for something for a special occasion, we work with you to transform your vision into reality. Our process is intimate and collaborative. We create handmade couture that will set you apart.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Founder and Creative Director, Danni Culligan graduated with 1st class BA (Hons) in Fashion Design and Development from the London College of Fashion.

She completed prestigious internships with Rebecca Minkoff in New York, and Henry Holland and Victoria Beckham in London.

On graduation Danni worked with Roland Mouret on sensual and provocative designs celebrating the female form with a renewed focus on modern wardrobing with timeless appeal

She then spent eight exciting years with Christopher Kane joining shortly after he was named Women's Wear Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards.

The brand established a name for producing modern aesthetic, manipulating textures and silhouettes, creating strongly feminine looks, laced with attitude. Danni led growth of Ready to Wear before becoming Head of Design and Development as the brand expanded in new markets.

THE DESIGN PROCESS

Step 1:

Have a meeting with the Design Director Danni Culligan. This can be done in person or virtually. Danni will ask about the type of design you have in mind to create a mood board. It can be helpful to share any Pinterest boards or similar design inspiration you have.

Danni will ask lots of question to get an understanding of the type of silhouette you wish, the fabrics you like and design details. Based on these discussions an initial quote will be provided.

Step 2:

Danni shall produce a variety of sketches based upon the feedback from step one. You can work through these together allowing Danni to make changes based on your feedback.

Step 3:

A meeting to review the sketches and fabric swatches and decide upon the silhouette that best suits the style you are looking for. Danni shall then take this design to move towards creating the first prototype.

Step 4:

Fitting of the first prototype, which is called a toile, made in a substitute material to your exact measurements. Danni will drape fabric and trims onto the toile to help you see your design come to life. Danni will fit the dress perfectly and change details as she works through the development process.

This process can take up to 2-3 samples to ensure the final design encompasses every aspect perfectly.

Step 5:

Final fittings are where we begin to bring everything to life by making your dress in its final fabric. The dress is produced as a shell meaning it lacks the final finishing details. This allows Danni to create the perfect fit before adding the finishing touches. This process may take 1-2 fittings.

Step 6:

Your dress is now ready for collection.
