With over 30 years of experience, this passionate team of bridal experts will help you look and feel incredible throughout your once-in-a-lifetime celebration. This stylish boutique specialises in sustainable, affordable, and size-inclusive gowns destined to take your breath away.
Services Offered
With a gorgeous selection of designer dresses and handmade accessories created by the talented artist Ali, you will be sure to find your dream outfit at Blue & Sixpence Bridal. Featuring over 500 designer off-the-peg gowns in various styles and colours, the team dedicates itself to providing above-and-beyond service to couples planning their special day. Their new, exclusive, couture custom-made collection has over 80 fresh, unique designs, all available in sizes 4 to 32. You'll be spoilt for choice with many customisation options, embellishments, styles, and accessories. Recent newlyweds can also sell their gowns through the boutique for a small fee, making your wedding gown even more affordable.

Around 15 months before your wedding is the ideal time to buy your gown. This gives you time then to look for accessories, bridesmaids gowns, Mother of outfits and suits

Wedding dress
Recently had a booking with Ali to try on a variety of wedding dresses 😍 she made it a special time for myself and my maid of honour. Wasn't long before we found the perfect one.

I found my gown!!
Ali at Blue & Sixpence is everything you need when finding your wedding dress. She is friendly, professional, informative and full of the best advice and tips. I was apprehensive going to try on dresses but Ali put my nerves at rest. I had ideas of what I wanted which Ali listened to and guided my (& bridal party) choices to find something perfect for me! Added bonus was the great value price of the dress! Would recommend Blue & Sixpence to everyone!!

Incredible 💖
I went to Blue & Sixpence to look at potential wedding dresses, never imagining I would find my perfect gown, I was absolute blown away by the amount of dresses in store, and how unreal they were. Ali was incredible helping me in and out of several gown, I simply felt so at ease.
I will continue to speak highly about this place to ever bride to be I speak to.

Wonderful experience.
I visited Blue & Sixpence with my maid of honour & bridesmaids. We are given a lovely warm and friendly welcome. Alison spoken to us all, making us feel relaxed. The time we had was exclusive for us only.
We all looked through all the dresses and we picked a dress each and Alison picked a couple of dresses too.
Alison. Helped me to try on each dress, each time making me feel comfortable and at ease. Each dress I tried on I walked out onto a podium to show my friends the dress and get a feel of each dress.
I found my perfect dress that was perfect for me.
The whole experience was a wonderful and magical one.

Found my perfect dress
The experience I had coming to this shop was one of a kind! I was very nervous and self conscious and not only did she help me find a dress that made me feel amazing she made me feel comfortable and confident! Took her time to make everything perfect! I honestly could recommend any other store! She’s such a lovely woman and the dresses are all perfect!

One of kind women who knows her stuff
As it was my first bridal shop to visit. I was about nervous but soon as Ali came to meet us at reception I felt very warm welcome from herself and my nerves disappeared. Which was lovely feeling especially when you don't know what to except but from trying all the different dresses on an having my mum with me I also valued Ali's advice as she knew what looks right an doesn't. We the intention of just looking and trying a few on. I felt amazing when finally found the one an instantly fell in love. I SAID YES TO THE DRESS!! Thanks so much Ali you where very professional, warm an welcoming and nothing was too much can't wait for the big day to arrive.

Rude owner ruined first bridal visit
The owner of this store was incredibly rude.
Told me I was too early to try gowns on and that I can’t buy a gown until I have my venue, the girls can’t buy their dresses till I have mine and the groom can’t by his suit. Felt really uncomfortable within the first 5 minutes and felt like she had no time for me and my mum whatsoever. I was trying on dresses for the first time and while my mum was visiting. Then proceeded to allow me to try on 4 dresses seeing as I was there. Told me I didn’t suit a dress with sleeves because I’ve got tattoos down my arm and I look lob-sided!!
Had there been a problem I should’ve been told when I booked the appt, Would not go here again, the room is rammed with dresses and it’s incredibly overwhelming. We were not made to feel welcomed or special at all.
The next bridal shop I went to reassured me it was perfectly fine to research and try on dresses whenever I wanted to.

Can't thank Ali enough!
After trying on some dresses at 2 other places, I was getting a bit worried that I wouldn't find a dress that gave me that magical feeling. Ali was absolutely brilliant, listening to everything I said and pulled out various dresses that she thought I might like. Unlike other places, she was never pushy about any dresses and didn't try to convince you it was the one when you weren't feeling it. In the end I found the perfect dress which I can't stop looking at. The price of this dress was shocking for how gorgeous it was and earned me a high five from my Fiancé (who had been slightly worried what I'd spend on my dress). I also got a veil which I adore. Ali was absolutely fantastic, couldn't recommend her enough!

The best bridal shop in Liverpool
Absolutely loved my experience at blue and sixpence. Ali was amazing so friendly and helpful. Really put me at ease. There was a huge selection of dresses to choose from all at fantastic prices. I got a matching tiara and veil too. Absolutely over the moon with the price of the dress.

I had such a positive experience today and went from feeling apprehensive and full of dread, to happy, confident and with the dress of my dreams.
Ali was so helpful, full of excellent advice, guidance and suggestions, whilst really listening and taking on board all my worries, likes and dislikes.
I arrived dreading the appointment, convinced that I wouldn't find anything I liked in my size and at best, expecting to narrow down what I needed to be aiming for; instead I had the most positive experience ever, trying on lots of gowns and leaving with the dress of my dreams.
I can't rate Blue & Sixpence any higher, or put into words how much I recommend this amazing salon with so much choice.

HAD A WONDERFULL MORNING AT BLUE & SIXPENCE, SUCH A LOVELY LADY. I COULDNT FAULT HER ON ANYTHING. I SAID YES TO THE DRESS ALSO.
