  Wonderful day with experienced staff

  As a curvy bride I was very nervous to find the right dress that would suit my
  Figure. I so appreciate the kind support I received from the staff at Sophie grace. They helped give me confidence and recommended the perfect dress for my taste and shape. I couldn’t have felt more comfortable and listened to. Thanks so much Mo.

  Stressful, pressured & bitchy

  I’m going to be honest here because unfortunately my experience didn’t reflect the other reviews or my expectations of the day.
  When we arrived, it was just a brown unit in industrial estate, a woman shoved a thermometer & clipboard in our face without saying hello and walked off till another woman greeted us. We were very pressured to make a decision on a dress right there and then, as if we couldn’t wait even a couple of days to decide and were told other bridal shops wouldn’t be able to get us a dress and it turned into a very hard sell which was uncomfortable for both me and my guest. Truthfully, a lot of the dresses & room were tacky. We weren’t allowed to take photos, the saleswoman had no respect for privacy or modesty and she bitched about another bride doing a fitting who had put on weight and said they ‘expected more from her’ which was so uncomfortable.
  We made the best of it, but left feeling stressed & having been to another amazing appointment it’s so clear that the experience should be more chilled & professional.

  Whilst our location has been chosen for its accessibility, space and privacy, we appreciate that it isn't the prettiest until you enter, and I was pleased we were able to agree the inside and dresses were beautiful. As an established bridal shop we aim to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, indeed we would never speak badly of any Bride, and we will aim to do better when appreciating differing levels of comfort from our Brides. We know that in this difficult time we have to marry the reality of procedures and timeframes with providing the bridal shopping experience you have waited so long for, and as a team, we have taken your comments on board.

  Real Bride Review

  An absolute joy! What a lovely experience. My daughter and I went to Sophie Grace Bridal and were greeted by Mo, who was just superb. She knew the stock intimately and clearly is very experienced in meeting the needs of the Bride. We were unhurried and listened to throughout, culminating in purchasing 'the' dress and enjoying a glass of champagne to celebrate (Sophie Grace had just received their licence and we became the first customers to enjoy this and very nice it was too). Thank you Mo and the Sophie Grace team, we have no hesitation in recommending you and will do so.

  Great team, lovely dress

  Amazing selection of dresses and amazing after care to ensure the dress I chose was just right on the day, all the little extras and clever design elements really helped. Service is sublime. This is a local company that truly cares - highly recommend.

  I visited twice in the last week, Layla was so friendly and helpful in suggestions of ways to personalise my dress. Also asking their seamstress Jacky to come to help too.
  I left still unsure if it was the dress. But Layla answered my emails and phoned twice to discuss the dress.
  I revisited to day and met Mo the owner, who was also lovely.
  Definitely visit this shop if you're looking for your dress!

  I found my perfect dress

  From the moment that my family and I arrived at Sophie Grace Bridal Mo and her Team made us feel so welcome. The dresses are stunning, the studio is beautiful, large and airy; the perfect place for trying on dresses, which are all gorgeous. I found my perfect dress, as well as all of our bridesmaid’s dresses (x5) and an evening gown for my best friend’s wedding. Mo and the team have helped to make my Bridal Experience that much more magical, calm and exciting and for that I am truly grateful. I would highly recommend Sophie Grace Bridal - Thank you so much ladies xx
