I went to Posh Frocks with my sisters last year to try on some wedding dresses for my wedding in July of this year and it couldn't have been a better experience. The staff made me feel so comfortable and welcome and put no pressure on me at all to buy. After a chat about the wedding plans and what I was looking for, they picked out a few dresses for me and also let my sisters take a look through the racks and pick a couple, too. I ended up falling in love with the second dress I tried on, which actually turned out to be in their sample sale! I also bought a matching veil. They also helped me organise the alterations through a seamstress they work with (Dasha), who did a fabulous job and had my dress ready in plenty of time before the wedding. 10/10, definitely recommend!

I went to 14 dress shops in Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire/London and would not recommend any of them above Inna Voronova Bridal. Inna was so friendly and kind when I first visited the shop and didn't pressure me at all. I left but kept thinking about the dress I tried on when I visited the 13 other places! Inna's dresses are beautiful, detailed and unlike anything you'll find elsewhere. The other shops had similar (if not exactly the same) dresses as each other and they were all bought in from somewhere else, so I they could not answer intricate questions regarding different types of alterations. Inna does her own dresses by hand and will understand the exact process of what can be added/changed about the dress. Hence, I went back to see if the one I loved could be altered in the way I wanted and she said no problem! She got it done so so quickly as well, I've been impressed about every step. Nothing was too much trouble and to add another incredible thing, the prices for the incredible sparkly ballgowns they have is a dream. I couldn't believe I got the perfect dress I wanted, unlike one anyone else will have and for a price, where I was going to be charged double at other shops for something no where near as special. Trust me when I say that if you want a gorgeous, princess like dress at a great price with the expertise, go to Inna Voronova. Even if you just want to feel special and pop in and see what she has but not commit, they're incredibly welcoming and nothing has filled me with more relaxation when planning a wedding than knowing my dress came from here. I met Mel at a wedding fair 7 years ago, I instantly was greeted by her beaming smile. I instantly felt her warmth and compassion for her brides, business and fellow suppliers. I have supplied the hair and makeup to many of Mels brides and every time i see them in their dress, they look perfect and they speak so highly of her, like a friend. Mel stocks beautiful dresses to suit most sizes and budgets. Her service and attention to detail is second to none, she is honest, kind and really cares about her brides as if they are family. If I wasn't married already, I would most certainly be heading off to her converted barn in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. Working alongside Mel as supplier, is a dream, she is the only bridal shop that I will ever recommended. You will not go wrong with Mel, book now and find your dream dress and dream supplier.

Choosing a wedding dress design, fabric and a designer to create it can be one of the most overwhelming tasks in life. After two careful interviews, I selected Lisa Lyons-Montgomery as my wedding dress designer. Initially we met for coffee in London. Lisa accommodated my schedule even though she lives in Harpenden. I liked her right from the start. She didn’t try to overrule my ideas. She wanted me to be happy, so she listened patiently and let me go on and on about the dress. Of course, I have no idea how to design a dress, much less sew all the important pieces together. But Lisa made me feel like I did have a knack for bespoke creations and allowed me to express my ideas. Initially we talked about colour and types of fabric. Lisa put a colour board together with enough options to assure me that I had chosen the right colour within the broader selection that was possible. She didn’t leave out a hue that I might find interesting. I knew what colour I wanted once I saw it on the board. A few weeks later, dressed in the calico copy with shears and pins in tow, Lisa cut and pinned the collar, the waist and the hem length until my perfect “dress to be” appeared magically. With a good friend we travelled to Harpenden 3 times before the final work of art was finished. Each visit, Lisa greeted us warmly into her home and studio. When I arrived at Lisa’s to bring my dress home, I knew it would always be a special dress and one I would remember creating for a very long time. Thank you Lisa for all your hard work. I can’t count the number of compliments I received. You’re truly an artist.

Would like to thank Morgan Davies, I felt amazing on my wedding day. My dress was beautiful. When dress shopping it was very Relaxed , Staff we're very helpful and friendly and my son was made to feel welcome.
