I'd strongly recommend Martels Bridal Boutique to any bride wondering where to look for their dream dress! Vanessa gave us a warm welcome and was an expert in what was or was not working with each dress I tried on, as well as what their highly capable seamstresses could do with alterations.

We were impressed with the range of dresses on offer- both made to order and the sample/off the peg collections. Whatever your budget or time constraints, you are sure to find something that will work. Specifically with regards to the sample dresses, I was impressed with the variety of sizes! The range of accessories and bridesmaids dresses is also superb. Combining this with the other services and vendors at Martels, it really is a one-stop shop for everything. The building was easy to find, spacious, well-presented, and plenty of free parking.

My mum and I attended a bridal fashion show at Martels. If more of these are hosted, I'd recommend going to one of these to any bride yet to start their search. It was really helpful to see a variety of bridal, bridesmaid, and mother of bride outfits 'in real life' and on different bodies, as seeing photos online only gives you a limited idea - plus it was a fun evening out! We found out about it on Instagram so make sure you keep an eye on their social media channels.

I got my wedding dress from here. When I went to get My dress I had thought in my head I knew what I wanted. I tried on several dresses and had previously been to another shop and I liked them all and just couldn't decide. Vanessa was so patient and said to me I have a dress you may or may not like would you like to try it? It would never have been something I would have chosen normally but I thought why not! When I put it on Vanessa looked at me and I looked at her and we both instantly knew this was the dress. There were tears from me and my friends who were there. Vanessa was so brilliant and knew exactly what would suit me, she was so patient and also very honest with me. On the day my guests just couldn't get over how stunning the dress was and as for the groom well he was blown away. Thank you so much Vanessa for helping me find the dress of my dreams xxx

Everyone at martels is fantastic. You could basically get everything you need for you wedding here. We got my dress and the boys suits. You tell them your budget and they stick to it. I was really unsure about trying dresses and really nervous but the ladies were so kind and explained everything in such a nice way.

The suits were measured and altered to fit everyone and then returned and given our safety deposit back with no problem.

I'll be recommending them to everyone!

After meeting the lovely Vanessa at a Wedding Fayre, I booked in. There is a wide selection of beautiful dresses and accessories. Vanessa puts you at ease and certanly knows her stuff. The experience from start to final fitting was amazing. I would highly recommend.
