Experience

Cynthia, the owner and founder of Oui Madam Bridal Atelier, studied at the London College of Fashion. Later, she did her Master's at Kingston University and taught fashion at college and university levels across the capital. Cynthia personally designs, crafts, and fits all the dresses with great attention to detail.

We operate by 'appointment only' during opening hours to allow clients and their guests exclusive use of the boutique, consultation and fitting rooms

Highly Recommended!

I, like may brides to be, made the fatal mistake of ordering a dress a couple of sizes smaller with the expectation that I was going to drop a load of weight before the big day....so when I turned up and met Cynthia, (after doing a lot of searching for Wedding Dress Alternations) at her beautiful boutique shop in Cookham, I was a little (more than a little) panicked. Not only was the dress far too small, but it also had very little shape - ie it did not pull in in the right places....all in all it was a bit of a disaster. Cynthia was amazing! She assured me that something could be done, was super friendly and made me feel 100 times better about my obvious faux pas. Within a matter of weeks, Cynthia had completely transformed my dress. It was unrecognisable from the garment I had handed over - in the most amazing way. I would highly recommend Oui Madame to anyone - highly skilled, professional, friendly and extremely trustworthy - which lets face it - we all need when preparing for that big day. Thank you Cynthia!

My fairytale Wedding Dress

I have always love the window displays at Oui Madam Bridal Boutique as I drove past there on my way to work..So when I popped in to look at the dresses, they were absolutely beautiful and it was difficult to choose which one. Cynthia was excellent fun to work with and a total professional. As she got to know me, she made recommendations for my dress that exceeded my expectations. It was such an amazing experience to work with a true designer and was perhaps the highlight of my wedding journey.
The price of my dress was no more that a regular high street shop, but i got the pleasure of seeing it at every stage. Even you live half the country away, this company is well worth the journey.
Thank you Cynthia, I cannot recommend you enough.

Wedding day saved

Cynthia saved my big day! She went the extra mile to alter my gown at short notice, so professional, friendly and accommodating.

Work was excellent and she made sure that I was happy and she was happy before I left the shop. I highly recommend her and would definitely use the service again.

Hi I am Cynthia, Owner and dress designer of the Oui Madam Bridal boutique.

I was trained by former Dior cutter Edward Thornton, at the London College of Fashion. I have worked for Alexander McQueen, Matthew Williamson, Roland Mouret and Victoria Beckham, where I developed my skills and reputation for elegant and exacting tailoring, in the finest couture tradition. I now specialise in bespoke bridal wear and create dresses for brides who cannot find a dress that they love and one that embraces their style and persoanlity. I am totally passionate about my work and invite you to research and read what my past customers have said about the service that I offer.

I only make approximately twenty bespoke bridal pieces a year, dividing the rest of my time between MA students at Central St Martins, and press work for London Fashion Week.

I am based in Nottinghill and also at my quiet atelier by the river Thames in Cookham
