It can take up to 6 months to have a Wedding dresses made to order, we also offer off the peg wedding dresses and sample sale dresses. So we have you covered if it’s a last minute wedding dates

How do you work?

Appointment only, you have our boutique exclusively for yourself and your entourage for 1.5 - 2 hours. Once your gown arrives we store and steam your dress free on charge ready for your big day

Operating hours:

Tuesday - Friday 10 - 4pm Saturdays 9 - 6pm Out of hour appointments available on request

What are the forms of payment?

Deposit of 50% of New gown and finally payment when your gown arrives. Full payment on sale dresses Payment plans available

In love with my dress

An absolute dream!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Proposals! Aileen helped me through my first dress appointment and after expert advice and walk through of the shop I ended up choosing the first dress I tried on! She helped me try on everything imaginable and understand all the options, how to tailor the dresses to suit me (which I didn’t think would be easy as a 5ft nothing gal!) The whole experience from that first day to my wedding day was an absolute dream and I can’t recommend Proposals of Witney enough.

Cant thank them enough

Had a really hard time finding a dress. I had a specific dress in mind and couldn't find anything remotely similar in my area. Ended up driving 100miles to come here no regrets! They were so helpful friendly and gave me honest advice on what suited me. Even helped talk some family members round to my dress choice.

A visit to Proposals is a must!

I was delighted that I visited Proposals in Witney and was so impressed with this boutique and the wonderful service I received. It was very different to what I had experienced elsewhere and I came away very happy and with everything I needed for my big day! Can highly recommend.

100% recommend!

Had such a lovely experience getting my wedding dress with Proposals. Aileen was so good at listening and picking out options in line with what I liked/didn’t like, and at making suggestions for accessories to finish off the look. I really valued her opinion and she gave some great advice on where to go for alterations. Really appreciated how they kept my dress safe in the shop and steamed it ahead of the big day. All in all the ideal service you could want, would 100% recommend!
