We sold our first dress to a darling girl called Kate only one hour after re-opening. Kate is now happily married with her first child and still follows us on Facebook.

By the following year we were bursting at the seams with a month waiting list for a Saturday appointment.

I am a little astonished but totally proud to say that The Bridal Lounge has become the place to buy your dress in Cheshire. My little brand has become quite a famous name in the wedding world, so much so we have designers keen to get onto our rails and we have even had our share of celebrity visitors. Brides travel from all over the UK and Ireland to visit us, it’s so very flattering.

Now talking of travel, I have travelled far and wide and across the world to bring back a unique and personally curated range of exceptional dresses.

Each designer I work with is handpicked for their brilliance and for their unbending desire to deliver the best quality, fit and cut. We are utterly obsessed with luxurious wedding dresses, unique customer experiences and we love a happy ending.

I am Sophie, Sara's daughter and has just had a baby! His name is Alfie he is perfect and i love him both so much! This photo was taken at the christening recently. I help mm out from time to time in the boutique when I can between feeds and sleeps. Being a generation x girl as my mum calls me I am pretty good at social media, so I do advise mum on marketing and how to use it.
