We created my perfect dress using a blend of 3 different dresses (neckline of one, pattern of another, and skirt of another!) for such a good price compared to other local shops. The service I had from the second I arrived at my first appointment to collecting the dress was fantastic. The alterations were done well and we're really reasonably priced. I really really recommend using Velvet Birdcage! 😍😍

First shop I went to find my dream wedding dress - and I found it! The staff were so helpful, one lady in particular (I think she's the owner?) really made the experience - she was interested, helpful, friendly and chatty. Seamstress did an excellent job adjusting my dress and gave me tips for wearing the dress on the day.

Being a curvier body shape, I was nervous about what my experience would be like, especially as I had heard bad stories about other places. As soon as we arrived however, Tanya was friendly, down to earth and put me at ease. She worked with me on styles and budget. The whole experience has been so positive and I was over the moon to find my gorgeous dress. It needed a lot of alterations which is where the fabulous Abi came to the rescue! Calm, empathetic, patient and so talented - she made it into the perfect fit for me. Can't recommend Lily Jacobs enough, thank you so much xx

The girls are purely amazing, they know what you want before you do. Wedding dress shopping always scared me but they made it so easy. I am forever thankful

I cannot recommend Lou and her daughter more. I was dreading the dress shopping as was the only element I couldn't imagine and I don't fit in the size 8 dresses you find in most bridal shops. It took 3 dresses to Lou to find me my perfect dress - I fell in love with instantly! Lou was really friendly throughout and the dress was perfect prepared ready for collection. Thank you so much. my daughter and i were in Worthing looking for a wedding dress, visited several shops couldnt find one she liked and the shop assistants not very helpful . I looked up online and saw this one Carolyn Anne bestpoke saw it was open to 9 pm from a house so phoned up to get a 7pm appointment , i read one bad review overwhelmed by good ones i know some people are never satisfied so dismissed the bad one . Outside the house was a notice board welcome Dawn when was nice tough . Lea the owner was absolutely lovely and friendly really helpuful selected what Dawn wanted from 3 different dress so hers was exclusive . I say if you want the best ignore the rest go to see Lea

I came to Cath for a veil in July 2021 and she was so helpful and welcoming - encouraged me to put my dress on and gave very thoughtful, personalised advice on the right veil shape and texture. Ordered a bespoke veil from her and absolutely loved it. Thank you Cath!

I cant even express in words how lovely Debbie was to my friends and my family. We chose the most beautiful bridesmaid dresses and she kept us informed and was professional yet friendly at every step of the way. My bridesmaids changed their shape due to illness and Debbie was discreet and always made them feel comfortable. When we had a problem with the mother of the brides dress, Debbie came to our rescue at her busiest time and really took all the stress away and stitched my mums dress beautifully and created her lovely underwear. We can't thank her enough. We went to too many bridesmaid shops which rushed us and were not very helpful. Debbie went beyond what we expected of her and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her services. She has a lovely selection of dresses and the service is impeccable
