Apple Tree Cakery is a York, North Yorkshire-based bakery that creates scrumptious bespoke wedding cakes. Owner and lead cake maker Jan Wiseman has been making, icing, and decorating sweet treats for decades. She uses delicious ingredients and time-honoured methods to produce delectable, multi-tier cakes. All that is needed of you is to tell her about your favourite flavours and theme and she will work her magic.

Services Offered

Whether you would prefer a traditional or a modern design, Apple Tree Cakery has the means to realise your vision. To make your cake extra special, Jan can decorate it with sugar-paste or buttercream flowers. From white chocolate with raspberry sponge to chocolate ganache, a wide array of flavours is available. In addition to cakes, Apple Tree Cakery provides cakesicles, biscuits, and cupcakes.

Fantastic all the way

Jan the owner of Apple Tree was fantastic , I showed her a picture of Pinterest and she recreated it perfectly , highly recommend using Jan for all your cake requirements you won’t be disappointed .

Amazing Cake

Jan made our beautiful autumn themed cake for our wedding. It looked and tasted amazing and we got so many comments from guests about it. Jan is wonderful to work with and so passionate about her work, I never once felt stressed about the cake once we hired her 😊♥️

Beautiful Cake & Excellent Service

Excellent service from Jan from initial contact through tasting and final delivery and setup.
Jan was very responsive when we first made the initial enquiry, we then visited her to discuss our requirements, we were so impressed with her that we immediately placed a deposit and ordered the cake there and then without hesitation.
She provided us with a very good set of samples for our tasting, the cake was excellent, delivered on time as promised and set up beautifully. The cake was delicious, all the guests and ourselves enjoyed it so much that there was not a single piece left. We certainly recommend Apple Tree Cakery for your wedding cake.

First class cakes

Lovely lady to chat with , time was spent asking what we would like in our cake, professional throughout , lovely cake tasting sessions, great communication which made our wedding day extra special , not only look nice, taste amazing , highly recommend and would definitely use again
