Barbara Brennen is the owner and founder of Bad Ass Cakes, and she enjoys helping clients create memories of their big day as well as wow-ing their guests with something a little different. She is very flexable and uses her know-how to create personalised wedding cakes that match specific requirements in breathtaking ways.

In 2013, Barbara decided to set up this operation, and she has been bringing all manner of tasty recipes to life ever since. She is an experienced professional who has been employed by some top hotels, The Savoy & The Ritz Hotel, and she loves working alongside couples to bring their ideas to life.

How many tiers can my cake be?

You can choose 1 tier or 8, it’s up to you. We like our couple to look up on your cake not down

How many flavours can I have on my cake?

This depends on the size. More tiers, more flavours, but please ask

What are the forms of payment?

As we usually start working on the finished look straight away 50% payment due to secure the date and the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to the wedding. Terms will be sent on enquiry

What areas do you cover?

South West London, but please ask as we have delivered to many different areas

Extremely happy!😃

Me and my partner were so happy with our little cakes 🧁 everyone loved them even the rum cakes 😋 thank you soooo much Barbara they were a hit 😍 1000% recommend Bad Ass Cakes!

Stunning Cupcake Tower

I ordered my wedding cupcake tower with a top tier cake from Barbara, and it was beyond beautiful! The cupcakes themselves were soooo good! It was such a stunning creation, and Barbara took care of everything, which turned out to be quite a lot. I ordered a custom wooden tiered cupcake stand online that required assembly and had it delivered directly to Barbara. She also sourced the flowers to decorate the stand. She baked 3 different flavours of cupcakes and decorated them uniquely plus the top cake and set everything up at the Wandsworth venue ahead of time. I was amazed when we walked in to our reception. Just spectacular. We got so many compliments about good they were! She was lovely to work with and I can't recommend her enough!

Cakes on a higher level

There are good cakes and there are great cakes out there but somewhere way above the best cakes are Barbara's BadAss cakes. Unbelievably good!

Wedding cake

Barbara made our wedding cake exactly how we asked and it tasted amazing! We had 3 layer and 3 flavours red velvets, orange and fruit cake. All our guests the love and quite a few people have asked who made the cake. We would always go to Barbara if we ever need a cake for a special occasion again the in future. Thanks Barbara!

Barbara responded to my request quickly, she was able to customise

Bad ass cakes dealt with my enquiry, quickly, professionally and were a pleasure to work with

I had a bit of an unusual request as I asked for a old fashioned recipe cake with the external looks of a modern cake with multiple flavours within, not easy and at quite short notice really. I was overwhelmed with her attitude and willingness to assist
I would highly recommend this company, beautiful cake, in looks and taste, which went down really well with all of my guests. We were left wanting more.

Amazing service with delicious cake!

Barbara couldn’t do enough to create our dream wedding cake. It tasted just as good as it looked. We had so many amazing comments from our guests about it. I would highly recommend!
