Wedding Cake Finishes

Frosting aside, it's worth considering the aesthetic or theme you are going for. With its exposed layers, a naked cake finish is an excellent option for rustic weddings. For something a little more elegant or sharply-designed, marzipan lends itself well to shaping.

Great supplier. Beautiful semi-naked cake. Sponge cake . 3 different flavours. Biscoff one was delicious as were the other 2. We served the cake for dessert.Everyone who ate it raved about it. Julie was great to work with. Very hot day so cake did well to last without melting!!

I may be slightly prejudiced as I've only been married once, but Yvonne created an absolutely stunning look for my wedding - five tier traditional wedding cake (funnily enough, the one shown at the top!) The three top tiers were dummies, so we didn't have too much cake, but you really couldn't tell the difference. Yvonne hand-crafted the lilies and I also carried a few of them in my bouquet. The price was ridiculously cheap and the cake was delivered to my reception in one beautiful piece. So grateful for the tremendous service received - fantastic job (as always, having had other cakes as well!)
