What Type Of Car Is Best For A Wedding?

It all depends on your personal preference. There is a huge variety of wedding cars available to rent across the UK, so no matter your taste, you're sure to find the perfect one. If you have a higher budget, you may opt for a luxury car like a Rolls Royce. Some couples choose a limo or an SUV, or a quirkier option like a VW Bug. Some don't choose a car at all, and instead arrive at their venue in a horse-drawn carriage. You could even ask a friend to borrow their car if they have one that you've always admired. It's completely up to you.

Who Travels In The Wedding Car?

Traditionally, one half of the couple travels in a wedding car to the ceremony along with the person who is giving them away, if there is one. A second car carries other members of the wedding party. The other half of the couple may arrive separately, not necessarily in a wedding car. After the ceremony, the couple generally travel together to the reception in the wedding car, and will sometimes take photographs with the car at the venue. However, it's completely up to you whether you take the traditional route or do something else.

I cannot rate this company enough. Alex was a pleasure to deal with. The cars for our wedding were absolutely stunning. Alex stayed for photos after the ceremony and and sent me images he’d taken himself. If you’re considering using them for your wedding don’t hesitate. If I could score more than 5 stars I would. We would highly recommend Barrington Wedding Cars. The cars were beautiful and looked great in our photographs. Neil was so approachable and informative. He allowed plenty of time so there was no pressure and everyone felt at ease. The cars did two runs from my parents house to the church and were caught up in unexpected traffic on the first trip. Neil however quickly found another route which stopped us getting there too late.

What a superb service these suppliers offer. The cars are absolutely beautiful and so reasonably priced. I had the Cadillac take me to my wedding and it was in pristine condition. The driver arrived in great time but didn't make me feel at all rushed when we were running late. He was calm and professional and warm- just what you need when you're a bag of nerves. I can't recommend Birkdale classics highly enough.

Boho brides were an absolute pleasure on our day, everything ran so smoothly and our driver was so kind and friendly taking lots of photos and speaking to guests. They are so knowledgeable and I trusted them completely unlike other companies which had shocking stories. John makes lots of effort in making sure everything is right and they are great value for money.
