Services offered

SJR Executive Cars of Dorchester's fleet of cars contains a 1932 Morris Major, a 1953 Riley, a 1956 Austin Princess, a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, maybe the Stretch Limousine, or an S Type Jaguar. The Riley is the most popular option, featuring an open top that will make for great photos of the newlyweds driving away.

Once you have selected your car, it will be decorated with ribbons matching your colour scheme and have a complimentary bottle of champagne for the newlyweds. With only one wedding booked per day, you can be sure to have plenty of time for taking memorable photos.

Colour matched ribbons and a bottle of bubbly for the bride and groom, only one wedding booked per car allowing plenty of time for photographs and professional and friendly chaufeurs

How far in advance should I contact you?

The earlier the better. We have been booked two years in advance and we have been booked three days in advance. Obviously, the earlier you book the more likely you are to get the car of your choice

Are there any additional services?

Happy to make additional trips for bridesmaids if distance and time allows. Alternatively book a second car at a discounted price. Any other specific requirements please ask. Happy to help if possible

Per event

What are the forms of payment?

Cash, cheques, cards and online bank payments. £50 deposit secures the date with balance due 14 days before the ceremony

A frustrating experience

We used SJR cars for our wedding in August 2019. Unfortunately the driver went to the wrong destination, and then became very flustered when trying to correct the mistake, making the experience a stressful one for bride and father of the bride. Sadly this ruined the experience for them. We were not contacted by the company afterwards to apologise, and then after our initial email they did not call back after telling us they would look into the matter. They were polite whenever we did speak to them, and clearly from other reviews they often provide a better service than this, but this was a very frustrating experience for us, both on the day and afterwards.
