We booked Braveheart for our wedding BBQ in May and they were incredible. We had so much food for such a good price and the food was just unreal. All of our guests raved about it and I'm planning on booking them again for my 30th. They are an older company so don't use social media etc a lot so it can be a bit harder to get in touch but rest assured whenever I called Steve or left him a text he wasn't long on getting back to me. I can't recommend them enough if you want great quality food and lots of it for a great price! I have a few photos which our photographer took but we were all too busy enjoying it to take any ourselves 🤣

This was unfortunately our wedding caterer. And I can honestly say hand on heart Stephen and I feed our dogs better than what these absolute scam artists fed us and our guests. Mortified isn't the word!

We gave well over a week for a response on the back of such a heavy complaint, and all we received back was insults to the injury and not one apology.

So sad to say that it had such a heavy impact on our day, one I will never forget.

Please guys - avoid at all costs and please share this away. We will be taking this all the way to ensure this does not happen to anyone else. Truly heartbroken!

We hired Braveheart for our wedding on 10 August 2024. We had the Black Douglas BBQ buffet and around 160 people at our wedding meal. The food was amazing and plentiful, with many being able to go for seconds. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they’d had. Everyone also loved the whole spit roasted pig, especially the kids.

While Steve might not be your typical wedding vendor, we found him to be very down to earth and genuine. He was responsive to any emails/texts we sent and very flexible and prepared logistically. We had some guests with very specific dietary requirements and Steve assured us these would all be catered for and this was the case. These guests said they were very impressed with the food they had available, as the selection for them at weddings is usually not that great.

With so many guests it was of course not possible for everyone to get their food together and, as with any other buffet, people did have to queue so it’s probably good to have realistic expectations about this if you’re thinking of booking a buffet. However we found that many of our guests did not mind this and appreciated the chance to chat and mingle with others while queuing.

Overall our experience with Braveheart was excellent. They were very affordable (£21pp including crockery) compared to many other buffet caterers we looked at and the quality and quantity of food was also excellent.

Braveheart Catering is nothing more than shambolic and have a cheek to call themselves caterers 🤬
They “catered” my sisters wedding and the food was absolutely revolting and inedible, I have seen animals fed better. It was nothing like what was agreed prior and It totally ruined my sisters and brother in laws wedding.
The serving staff at the venue were so embarrassed to have to serve this to the guests and the bride and groom equally embarrassed this was served!
Avoid this company at all costs!!!!

2 words - "Utter Disgrace"
Not only was the food very sparce but mostly inedible. I was one of the lucky ones as there was not enough food to go round I felt obliged to politely decline so others could get something to eat. By the time the unappealing food arrived there were 2 helpings with still at least 5 people to be fed. To witness the Bride in tears on her special day was truly heartbreaking.
The above is bad enough but to now say all was fine and over 100 guests are lying!!
Obviously they have no conscience or desire to do the right thing after they have their money. How they sleep at night knowing they have ruined a Brides special day is disgusting. If you are reading this please don't waste your hard earned money on Braveheart Catering.

I attended a wedding of a close friend in which Braveheart were the caterers. Please do not ever use these people!! The way the food was dumped in bowls for everyone to help themselves was dreadful. The time taken to serve the food was ridiculous and the food itself ok at best. My friend has had an appalling response from the caterers who just want the money and run! Avoid at all costs

Booked Steve through our wedding planner. Firstly we organised a tasting session which isnt a part of his business model so was made to feel awkward. Never the less showed up for the tasting and he had forgotten about us as well as inviting us to someone else's wedding celebrations!! Absolutely mortified. This is included in his apparent business model that if you book, you're allowing others to show up to your wedding. The tasting of the food we wanted (a sit down meal) never happened due to time constaints etc. On the day of the wedding, the food was cold, some of it inedible as it was so revolting. The meals provided weren't what was advertised nor the bar menu either. Staff serving were unprofessional, wearing hoodies. one staff member in particular had his hood up whilst serving! Also they did not dispose of any waste and instead dumped it outside for us to deal with in the morning. To call themselves a luxury caterer is a disgrace and a joke. Avoid at all costs and you'd be better spending your money elsewhere.

Booked for a large wedding, completely out of their depth. Late, dressed shabbily and unprofessional. Avoid!
