We hired Red Herring as our caterer for our wedding in August. We live in New York City and we were getting married in England so we knew it would be a bit tricky. Our venue (Pylewell Park) recommended a few caterers and we had quick chats with them all at the beginning. Red Herring immediately stood out as being the most organized and most experienced. For example, we had originally wanted food stations or a buffet for our guests and they told us with our numbers, people would be in line a very long time. That type of advice was so helpful and we switched over to family-style boards after that. These types of conversations were helpful but what really sealed the deal was when we had a food tasting on a trip to England a few months prior. The food was so delicious. We felt like we were dining at a 5-star restaurant just at our food tasting. We were so impressed by their organization, their warmth and kindness, and the how delicious the food was that we even hired them for a dinner the night before our wedding, as well.

The food was absolutely fabulous on both nights and guests still talk about it. We hired MANY vendors for our wedding but we genuinely still think that hiring Red Herring was the best choice of all. Sarah, who held our hand every step of the way and kept us organized and on time, went ABOVE AND BEYOND. During our wedding she came and brought us champagne right after our ceremony and canapes during our drinks reception, which was so thoughtful because there is no way we would've stopped on our own. I actually miss my chats with her. Needless to say, if you are considering hiring Red Herring, JUST DO IT. You will not regret it for a single second.

Red Herring made our wedding the most enjoyable experience right from the get go. From food tasting, choosing the venue to endless emails they were so professional and no question was too much. When it came to the wedding itself we had 2 days and Red Herring made both days perfect down to every little finishing touch they saw my vision as the bride and made it come true. I would recommend them.
