We had the absolute pleasure of working with Smoking Embers for our wedding in July 2024, and we can’t say enough good things about the experience! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make our day special, ensuring we had every detail in order—from perfecting the timeline of the day to cooking us a delicious preview of the menu a few weeks before. We chose a Greek-inspired menu, and every dish was simply exceptional. The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. Our guests have commented about how delicious everything was—some even joked about when we’re getting married again just for the food! In addition to the incredible flavours, the team was professional, attentive, and focused on every detail, making sure everything ran smoothly so we could relax and fully enjoy our day. Thank you, Jack and the Smoking Embers team, for creating such an unforgettable culinary experience for us and our guests. First and foremost Firence is one of life's genuinely lovely people. He came to cater for our wedding reception (in our garden at home) and was a delight to communicate with from start to finish. I was nervous as I couldn't find much in way of reviews for him, but his service and pizza were both outstanding. I got a good feeling from speaking with him on the phone about how much thought and consideration he was putting into our event. I couldn't find any other pizza vans that didn't want a crazy minimum spend and I wasn't quite sure how many people to cater for until relatively last minute. Firence was happy to discuss pricing and come up with something that would work for both sides. In the end I calculated we would need around 100 pizzas which he said he could do for £10 a head. He was very accommodating when it came to deciding the menu and we came up with 3 pizzas that were all my favourites (despite two he had never served before). All were delicious! He was polite, friendly and really cared that he did everything he could to make the event a success. Felt like he put his heart and soul into it for us. His trailer was dropped off the night before and picked up the day after, giving us plenty of set up time. He was always very honest and open about everything and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. Just sad none of us really took any photos, but that was true of the wedding as a whole! We decided to pay upfront, so that the guests wouldn't have to queue and sort out payment on the day. This worked really well as it meant he could focus on serving the pizzas and keeping them coming. There was a steady flow, no massive queues and a lot of very happy guests. Any left over pizza was boxed and left behind. I can't recommend him and his services enough. It makes a real difference to not have to worry about the catering and to have someone on site who is courteous and lovely to have around. We couldn't have asked for more on our special day.

Magda was everything we could have asked for in a vegan caterer for my daughter’s wedding! Everything was so colorful and delicious. She was on time, completely professional and has a warm grace about her that put us immediately at ease, knowing that we were in good hands. She checked in with us throughout the day to make sure everything was going smoothly. I don’t think I could choose a favorite dish— there was so much good food. The mostly omnivore guests were delighted with all the choices and the tastes. We highly recommend this wonderful woman for any catering needs. Ben and Aiobh catered for our wedding at the end of August & I couldn’t recommend them enough! From start to finish they were so passionate & attentive to every detail making sure it was perfect for our special day. We got our own tasting menu brought to our home where we could taste the wide selection of options on the menu & make a decision. Everything we tried was delicious, it was very hard to choose! Throughout our wedding day we heard nothing but compliments about how good the food was, everyone loved it! The canapés, the buffet dinner, and the hog roast was all delicious and presented beautifully. All of the staff were so professional & helpful talking through what was what with each guest. Highly recommend, the photos of the food speak for themselves. Thanks again Ben & Aiobh!

We ordered pasties to be delivered after our wedding ceremony. Not only were they delicious but they were delivered hot and exactly on time. Professional and personal experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend!

Alfresco catering supplied not only our wedding catering but also our marquee, bar, tables, lights and many other details making our wedding day perfect. We wanted a big family bbq feel to our wedding and the food was so good with a great choice for every guest. Our evening food was nachos and we still have guests complimenting us on these! Tony was so helpful throughout the planning process making wedding planning that bit easier. Every idea we had Tony was able to help make it a reality. Thank you so much to Tony and his team for a great day. I would highly recommend for any events you are planning.

Just wow is all I can say. Their food was out of this world!! Their service was second to none. They did us a cheese board cake it was amazing!! I would highly recommend. They were helpful friendly and went above and beyond!! Would massively recommend for sure!!

It was absolutly amazing. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and I had some many compliments about it. You were so communicative and helpful and made the booking process so easy. I would highly recommend you to anyone. Thankyou again so much.

We booked In The Frame for our wedding and the food was absolutely divine. Every canapé was mouth watering, the lamb for main was cooked to perfection and there wasn’t a dessert left in sight. Explains a lot. When we decided to get married we knew we would book Hazel and her team because her food is always faultless.
