We booked Taste Haven for our wedding as they were listed as one of the recommended caterers by our venue. We have been fully satisfied with the choice. The price was reasonable and the head chef Derin was very helpful in guiding our decisions on how to balance the menu. She was also accommodating with our fluctuating guest numbers and we were able to make multiple changes right until very close to the wedding.

The food on the day itself was absolutely incredible, from the canapés (especially the salt and pepper prawns!) right up to the dessert. As a multicultural wedding, we were a bit worried that some guests may not be used to the food but we found that everyone we spoke to really enjoyed what was prepared, even if it may have been a new experience for them. We have had multiple guests comment on how the food just kept coming and that the quality was delicious. From our perspective we too found the food to be plentiful and top quality, with an efficiently run service. Leftovers were kindly boxed up for us to also take home. We would fully recommend Taste Haven as an African, Caribbean (and to some extent, Chinese) cuisine wedding caterer.

Derin is an amazing cook and she is extremely thoughtful and kind. She is humble and i love her so much. She dealt with my wedding reception with class.

Booking Taste Haven was one of the best decisions we made. The customer service and communication was great even before the wedding. Derin was so easy to talk to. The prices were amazing value for money. 6 months after the wedding and my guests are still complimenting the food. Even the non African guests loved the food. The food quantity was plentiful yet of the highest quality. I just want to thank you again for the exceptional quality food at our wedding on saturday. Everyone has been speaking werw all commenting the service, quality and taste of the food. My grandma was like "that prawns just kept coming nonstop". Two of friends were like " they wish they could turn back the hands of time, just to eat that food again". Even though I didnt get to eat much on the day, I've been eating the takeaways you packed for us. Thank you for being part of the team that ensured our day was a success.
