Sophie and Dave didn't just cooked amazing food for our wedding in Scotland, they were also really helpful with the planning and organisation from the moment we contacted them, to the day we left the venue.
We were the only vegan at our wedding, but all our guests were impressed with the food, and we got praises even from the most reluctant ones!
Vegan Junkies are the golden cherry on top of all your event, they definitely made our wedding reception memorable.

Dave and Sophie welcomed us in to their home for tasters for our wedding. The quality, quantity and flavour absolutely wowed us. We went for a Mezze menu. They asked us if we'd like to make any amendments which we only had 1 small change which they were happy to make. Wonderful people to deal with, no stress at all. Everyone was full & happy on our big day. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

Quite honestly they are simply the best!
They were the absolute perfect choice for our wedding and all of our guests (most of whom are not vegan at all) raved about the food!!
Not only was the food fantastic, Sophie & Dave and the loveliest of people. From emails, to our first zoom call to finally meeting on the day, they could not have been more accommodating to our vision and needs.
We would not hesitate to recommend them and we will definitely be considering them again for future events!

We couldn’t be happier that we choose Vegan Junkies for our wedding – over and above the food (which was awesome!) they put so much effort into the making the day flow smoothly so we and the guests could focus on having the best day ever.
In particular I am omnivorous and my wife is vegan and after multiple calls with mixed caterers who mainly focused on various versions of dull salads and/or carrots for vegans we made the decision to go fully vegan (and so glad we did!). Was also exciting for my wife to finally go to a wedding where she could eat all the canapés!
In particular as the vast majority of the wedding party was non-vegan, and we’re fully vegan at home thought it was a great opportunity to showcase how awesome and delicious vegan food can be!
From the moment they booked they made everything so calm and pleasant from start to finish.
The first call they talked us through menu ideas (and all sounded fantastic) and we settled on:
Canapes: Samosas, Mini Sausage Rolls (My wife’s favourite), and Mac & Cheese Balls
Starter: Meze Sharing Platter
Main: Vegan Wellington with Vegetable
We then went for a lovely meal at their home where they cooked all the various options and a lot of empty plates later, we were more confident then ever that we’d chosen the perfect caterer.
In the build-up to the wedding the venue (which had a set of rules and regulations more complicated than an average insurance policy!) kept throwing up restrictions and new rules and at every turn Sophie and Dave handled it calmly and can’t underline what a huge help this was to lower the pre-wedding stress levels.
On the day itself despite the venue being in Somerset they assembled an absolute dream team, and you could see when Dave and Sophie were briefing the team how professional focused, and kind they were to all the team members and got them really excited about the day – all of them were excellent throughout.
For the food itself I can think of no higher praise than seeing a great swathe of people who all rolled their eyes at a ‘vegan wedding’ – happily gobbling down delicious Samosas, Sausage rolls and Mac & Cheese balls! My Dad in particular! Everyone commented on how delicious the food was throughout the day and super glad we both went fully vegan and found the wonderful vegan junkies!
I cannot recommend Sophie and Dave enough for your big day regardless of how many non-vegans are attending. If we could get married again, we’d definitely re-book them!

Booking Vegan Junkies to cater our wedding was easily one of the best decisions we made. Sophie and Dave took the time to get to know our tastes and personality before expertly crafting the perfect meal, both for the wedding breakfast, and street-style evening food. They invited us to a tasting at their lovely home and we were treated as if we were old friends in every step of the process. The team they brought with them to the wedding were fantastic and alongside providing excellent food and service, they helped out wherever they could during the day, bringing a calm, confident presence whilst adapting to changing time-schedules seamlessly. Months down the line, we still get comments from friends and family about how incredibly tasty every single dish was! Thank you both so much for your instrumental contribution to our fantastic wedding - we would recommend Vegan Junkies to cater any event in a heartbeat!

We wanted a simple lunch for our wedding day and Vegan Junkies were brilliant from our initial enquiry, discussing options through to preparing and delivering a delicious lunch for all of us, including our gluten-free guests.

Dave and Sophie catered for our wedding in August this year and we couldn't be happier with how amazing the food was for our special day! After being let down by another caterer a few months prior, we were so happy to have found Vegan Junkies, and from day 1 they were so helpful, thoughtful and did everything they could to make the catering a success at our wedding. With us both being vegan, we wanted to use this opportunity to show our (nearly all non-vegan) guests how amazing vegan food can be, and Dave and Sophie did not let us down at all - we had so many amazing comments on the food afterwards, with many people having their opinions changed on vegan food! Vegan Junkies catered for our wedding breakfast, evening food (pizzas!) and breakfast the next day - it was all perfect.

We met with them both online and in-person to put together a menu that we were really excited about, and from then on we did not ever need to worry about the catering as Vegan Junkies took all the stress away from us. For anyone looking for incredible vegan catering for any event, I would absolutely recommend Vegan Junkies - their passion for what they do shines through and it was so lovely for us to meet with two people who share our values for good food and veganism!

We booked Sophie and Dave for our wedding of 100 guests and they were fantastic in every aspect. They catered to all the guests needs, including the ones with obscure allergies! They worked very hard to make sure that all of the food was served timely and hot, even though there were a large number of guests. The food was delicious and we got lots of positive feedback from even our non-vegan guests! We would definitely recommend them. If you book them for canapés then the mac and cheese balls are to die for! Sophie and Dave also provided the bar at our wedding with two lovely staff members and all the guests loved it. We got any pictures of the food as we were too busy enjoying it, but we have got a picture of a happy Dave!

Sophie and Dave were brilliant from the moment we contacted them. We'd had problems with our first caterer and had to cancel so booked with Vegan Junkies with relatively short notice. Their communication from first contact was brilliant, very helpful and quick to respond.

Our venue had no catering equipment and could not even plug in to the mains but this didn't faze Sophie and Dave and they dealt with all the problems without us having to worry.

The food itself was unreal. We had canapés for the drinks reception, pie and mash for the wedding breakfast and pizza for the evening food. Our guests loved the food with many saying they couldn't believe vegan good could be so good. The star of the show was the mac and cheese balls which were served at the evening reception!

We would highly recommend Vegan Junkies for amazing food but also for Sophie and Dave who are wonderful.

We could not recommend Sophie and Dave at Vegan Junkies more. From start to finish they were incredible. We were able to create a bespoke menu that suited our preferences perfectly. Sophie and Dave did everything to make sure our food suited all our guests, our taste buds and our budgets. We had multiple zooms to make sure we were happy and the tasting was such a special experience. For any bride and groom after the easiest catering experience, with caterers who will consistently go above and beyond, these guys are for you. Our vegan, vegetarian and carnivore guests were blown away by the food! A real highlight of our wedding!

Dave and Sophie catered my wedding and it couldn’t have been better! They are very talented chefs and very easy going and lovely to chat to. They were really helpful with creating a menu and guiding us through whole way. All the food tasted incredible and looked beautiful too.
We had some limitations with our venue in terms of not being able to have hot food catered externally, but we felt strongly about having Dave and Sophie cater our wedding and they went above and beyond. They provided an amazing menu even without hot food that was delicious and did not leave us or the guests desiring more. Some of the guests didn’t even realize the entire menu was vegan and the sausage rolls were a crowd favorite.

We chose Vegan Junkies as our wedding caterers because we wanted to have different elements of our day that were ethical and sustainable. From minute one, Sophie and Dave were just brilliant. They were prompt with replying to emails, really easy to liaise with and invited us to their home for a tasting before the day. We met with them twice on zoom in the lead up also, and nothing was too much for them. The food on the day was phenomenal; we had a lot of meat eaters at the wedding and they were simply blown away by the food, and the falafel and harissa tomatoes were just sublime. We could not recommend Vegan Junkies more, they made our day that extra bit special.

We cannot recommend Vegan Junkies enough. They were brilliant throughout the process and helped create a menu that suited us perfectly. The food impressed vegans and non-vegans alike, and the Indian-themed mains, trio of desserts and evening Mexican-themed food all went down a treat. Thank you Sophie and Dave for catering for all the intolerances (and picky eaters!), creating such wonderful food and making the whole process so easy.

Sophie and Dave are the best! They are so friendly and have been a dream to work with. The food was amazing on the day, the mushroom wellington and cauliflower bites was out of this world!!! We also had a lot of guests saying they really loved the food even though they weren't vegan, which is always great to hear :D

Vegan Junkies catered our wedding in August and we can’t recommend them enough!

From start to finish everything was perfect - communication was amazing, Dave and Sophie were a pleasure to work with, really friendly and professional! They made everything really easy, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly on the day.

Of course, the food was absolutely amazing. Myself and my husband are both vegan so we wanted a fully vegan catering, and we were involved at every stage to design our perfect menu. During the planning, we were also invited to Dave and Sophie’s home for a menu tasting, which was one of the highlights of our wedding planning!
We got so many comments from everyone attending (vegan or not) about how good the food was! It was so important for us to have amazing food on our wedding day and Dave and Sophie definitely didn’t disappoint!

Again, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for catering - vegan or not!
